Two Witness That America Is The Promised Land
From the same text, no less.
There are two witnesses in a single verse that lend us a fact that very few Believers care to consider. Witnesses against Jerusalem Israel being the end time promised land and witnesses for America being that very land, specifically promised to the descendants of Jacob/Israel.
The passage is Deuteronomy 8:9.
“The whole commandment that I command you today you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land that YHWH swore to give to your fathers………. For YHWH is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing out in the valleys and hills, a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey, a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing, a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose HILLS you can dig copper.” Deuteronomy 8:1 & 8–9
The statement, “you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing” is an apt description of a famine or the lack thereof.
and
The statement, “a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you can dig copper.” is an apt description of exactly what it states. A land that has an abundance of iron and copper, a metal that was not only rare in those days, in regards to the area, but is to this very day extremely rare to flat out non-existent within the territory given to Israel’s tribes as they are laid out on both sides of the Jordan River.
Witness Number One — There are 12 recorded famines in the old testament and one single recorded famine in the new testament, for a Total of 13. Here is a list for you to consider.
This fact alone excludes the land of ancient Canaan from being the land spoken of by YHWH to the gathered Children of Israel in Deuteronomy chapter 8. That said, consider how this first witness speaks to the fact concerning the true intended promised land given to Israel.
The following link gives a list of all the nations that have recorded a famine in history.
With the exception of one nation, every nation on the plane of the earth has had a recorded famine. That unlisted nation is America.
Look at the list again so that you will know what I am saying is 100% fact. Find me one nation besides America that is not on this list. Look closely at the example that occurred in 1878–1880 in Alaska. This occurred before Alaska came under the Devine providence of The Almighty’s blessing. Alaska was not a state until the late 1950’s.
Thus, a summation of answering the question of what land is the true Promised Land of Scripture from witnesses number one…… It has to be America. But there is more. Let’s examine a second witness.
Witness Number Two — There are no copper or iron mines in the territory that was given to the children of Israel being only possessed temporarily when YHWH established each tribe’s territories. Study closely the following map.
The naysayers to this argument will always bring up the “Valley of Timna”, a copper mine which is located in the tip of “modern day” Israel, way down in the Sinai wilderness, below the Negev Desert, close to the city of Elat, just slightly north of the gulf of Aqaba, where Egypt and Jordan meet. Notice a map showing the Valley of Timna.
Compare the two maps carefully. Is the Valley of Timna in the territory given to the tribes of Israel during Joshua’s day?
No way.
Does, The Valley of Timna fulfilled YHWH’s words in Deuteronomy 8:9?
In no way, whatsoever.
Do your research. Is there another example of a mine anciently or even today in this region? I can’t show you something that doesn’t exist. It’s not there, people. However, throughout the Israelite nations such as Germany, Great Britain, and countless other Israelite nations where the Anglo Saxon, Caucasian peoples have placed the sole of their foot to possess (see Joshua 1:3–4), and finally into the world leader throughout the 20th century, America, Israelite nations have lead the way in both iron and copper production, to abundance.
Today, because America has lost its way morally, taking on the ways of the gentiles, turning away from YHWH’s Covenant Law of Liberty, Nations like China now lead the way, far exceeding anything America has accomplished. However, its not due to a lack of material in the land, but rather due to the stagnant political system we have allowed to lead our nation. The resources are still there, just a YHWH prophesied.
The point being, America has the goods. Middle Eastern Israel does not and never had the goods to begin with.
Conclusion…… America is the intended, prophesied Promised Land described in Deuteronomy chapter 8. The facts don’t lie.
