Chapter Five of “The Book of The Covenant” A Witness Against America

“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that YoHeWaH, your Mighty One, is giving you.” Exodus 20:12

The fifth commandment is the perfect bridge between the “love toward YoHeWaH” first four commandments and the “love toward neighbor” last five of the ten. It can be debated that the fifth commandment holds just as much right to be on the “love toward YoHeWaH” side of the equation. Fact is, the case can be made and will be made, all ten of these commandments and the judgments are love toward YoHeWaH, once you view them a layer down, with critical thought.

Honor is defined as, “High respect and great esteem via adhering to what is right.” Oxford Dictionary.

The word, however, in the text as defined by Strong’s, holds a slightly different connotation. The word is defined by Strong's from the Hebrew as “weighty, burdensome, personal responsibility”.

The LXX defines the word as “to esteem via a fixed value, to prize”.

Teachable Moment: The LXX (Septuagint) refers to the seventy Hebrew / Greek scholars commissioned to create a Greek translation of the Hebrew scriptures (the Old Testament) from the dying knowledge of the Hebrew language during the middle third-century BCE. Thus, the LXX is a Greek manuscript of the Hebrew Old Testament. It is an outstanding tool for the bible student to glean further information about any text or word. It also must be noted that Our Savior, Yeshua, The Christ, quoted from the LXX primarily.

Unless otherwise noted, any definition within this work will incorporate the LXX thoughts into the said definition.

Thus considering all three sources defining the word translated honor, its true definition might look something like this:

Honor — To respect and hold in valued esteem a weighty personal responsibility of doing what is right in the eyes of the said person who has taught what is right, to the point of sometimes being a burden. Not an easy task.

It must be noted that Christianity is certainly not guilty of teaching or practicing any of YoHeWaH’s commandments, five through ten. These commandments are, for the most part, self-explanatory on the surface. Scholars and teachers have dissected these simple, no-brainer commands six ways to Sunday, literally. Christendom does a great job on the physical plane keeping this side of the equation straight.

Thus, there’s no debate here concerning the 5th commandment, with one exception. There is the matter of how well Christianity honors YoHeWaH, Their heavenly Father. To question this would draw the ire of every aspect of Christianity, from parishioners to pastors…. And yet, we do question it, 100%.

Actually, YoHeWaH Himself not only questions it but also makes very accusative statements in scripture along these lines. So, let us look at a few, and you be the judge.

“And the vision of all this has become to you like the words of a book that is sealed (The Book of The Covenant). When men give it to one who can read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot, for it is sealed.” And when they give the book to one who cannot read, saying, “Read this,” he says, “I cannot read.” And YoHeWaH said, “Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men (like Christmas and Easter observance), therefore, behold, I will again do wonderful things with this people, with wonder upon wonder; and the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the discernment of their discerning men shall be hidden.” Isaiah 29:11–14

And

“A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If then I (YoHeWaH) am a father, where is my honor? And if I am a master, where is my fear? says YoHeWaH of hosts to you, O priests (Teachers of Christendom), who despise my name. But you say, ‘How have we despised your name?’ By offering polluted food upon my altar. But you say, ‘How have we polluted you?’ By saying that YoHeWaH’s table may be despised. When you offer blind animals in sacrifice, is that not evil? And when you offer those that are lame or sick, is that not evil? Present that to your governor; will he accept you or show you favor? says YoHeWaH of hosts. And now entreat the favor of The Almighty, that he may be gracious to us. With such a gift from your hand, will he show favor to any of you? says YoHeWaH of hosts. Malachi 1:6–9

The above two passages will need some explanation. Firstly, in Isaiah, the case can be made that the book spoken of in this text is the Book of The Law (Covenant Law). In just a minute, you will know why. In this case, hopefully, you can see in what way YoHeWaH’s people have honored their heavenly Father... In lips service only, void of deeds, what The Apostle James calls works, all in exchange for the traditions of men, swapping YoHeWaH’s Appointed Times for Pagan observances, as just one example. The wonders spoken of above that YoHeWaH will do directly refer to what He did to Egypt at the time of the Exodus (Exodus 3:20 & 11:10). Again, Egypt is a historical and prophetic typology of Christianity. See Chapter 25 of this work.

The passage from Malachi is viewed in a slightly different light, but it holds the same condemnation from YoHeWaH as an end-time prophecy. The typology of Malachi is a direct prophecy of the end-time nation America, and it has to be envisioned in this vain to see the depths of truth from this last book of the Old Testament.

Teachable Moment: As mentioned before, we will argue that the United States of America is several things in ancient typology, fulfilled and brought forward to magnify YoHeWaH’s word. I’ll list them quickly here as a context for this text from Malachi.

America is Israel

Christian America is Egypt

The UNITED STATES is Babylon

The UNITED STATES is the Levitical Priesthood

Judah is The Southern States

Ephraim is The United States of America

Ephraim is also The Northern States

Please note that there is a difference between the United States of America and the United States of America. You will learn all about this later. It is a very important concept of prophecy and context.

The context sets the stage, telling you which typologies fit the text. We will address this in detail much later in this work; however, it is imperative that you at least know where we are coming from to make the case concerning how Christianity honors or does not honor YoHeWaH accordingly.

Modern-day Christianity will tell you that America, the greatest nation in the history of mankind, isn’t found prophesied in scripture anywhere outside of the end-time references to Babylon.

Oh, how Christendom is wrong. Totally wrong.

The end-time nation of America is the most frequently mentioned nation in all of scripture. Hopefully, by the end of this work, you will be able to see this extremely important key to understanding the Bible clearly.

In the context of Malachi, written specifically to the priest of the Levitical Priesthood during the days just after Ezra and before Nehemiah, during the second temple period, when the regulatory procedure of the newly re-established Levitical Priesthood was still trying to find its footing, the House of Judah is very much like America, post-civil war.

Teachable moment: The details will be made later in this work, but YoHeWaH established America as the scriptural true promised land described in Deuteronomy chapter 8. The government established in 1619, declared in 1776, and constituted in 1791 was ordained by Almighty YoHeWaH, prophesied from the pages of the Bible.

That nation paused after the Civil War ( another of the Bible’s prophesied events), which brought a brand new entity, also prophesied in scripture, the end-time empire of Babylon (The UNITED STATES), not a nation at all but a corporation under the Crown of England. This newly established corporation was and is governed by Admiralty Law, the law of the sea, also known as regulatory law.

Thus, within America, two governments have actually been established.

The original United States of America — The law of liberty, also known as the law of the land, under which we, the people, “falsely” think we live.

And

THE UNITED STATES — The law of regulation, the law of the sea, the prophesied end-time Babylon, which oppressed the people, who believed they were free, in bondage.

Anciently, the nation of Israel also dwelt under two forms of government within their own house.

  1. Under the Melchizedek Priesthood, which upheld the Covenant Law of freedom and liberty.

And

2. Under the Levitical Priesthood, which upheld regulatory law of bondage and punishment.

Thus, the typology of the Levitical Priesthood is played out in establishing the regulatory corporation of The UNITED STATES, which has nothing to do with America. Again, more on this later.

This is confirmed via the last chapter of Malachi. Note the time setting of his work.

“For behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and all evildoers will be stubble. The day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says YoHeWaH of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch. But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. And you shall tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet, on the day when I act, says YoHeWaH of hosts. “Remember the law of my servant Moses (Covenant Law), the statutes and rules that I commanded him at Horeb for all Israel. “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome day of YoHeWaH comes. And he will turn the hearts of fathers (Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Franklin) to their children (of Israel) and the hearts of children (of Israel) to their fathers (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob/Israel), lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction, a curse” Malachi 4:1–6

The time setting is “The Day of YoHeWaH”, the end time “Great Tribulation” period also called the “Time of Jacob’s Trouble”, when YoHeWaH’s emphasis will be to restore His Covenant Law, the topic of this work. Notice the reference to fathers being honored and how that must come about. The time of Jacob’s trouble. Ask yourself who Jacob is and why he is having trouble. Jacob’s name was changed to Israel. His end-time descendants are in great distress about this time in history. Jacob placed his name upon his two grandsons Ephraim and Manasseh in Genesis 48, the implications of, we will go into great detail later in this work.

Most, if not all, of Christianity, will read right over the last verses of this chapter ending Malachi and the entire Old Testament, never considering that their identity is the main point. Most Christians see themselves as Gentiles in the faith, never examining the role the nation of Israel plays in their personal and national salvation. Most Christians equate Israel to The Jews and vice versa, which is totally false.

The process of coming to know our physical fathers dating back to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel, with Covenant Law at the forefront of that process, is one half of the equation. The other process deals with our people coming to know the importance of the governmental side of the Covenant, dating back to our founding fathers in this nation, men like Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Franklin, etc... These two concepts are the main points of the ending of the old testament:

  1. Biblical Covenant Law, along with the identity of the people of YoHeWaH

And

2. Constitutional Covenant Law, along with the knowledge of who our founding fathers were in relation to the people of YoHeWaH anciently.

Malachi records YoHeWaH’s question for these people who do not know either YoHeWaH or who they themselves are.

“If then I (YoHeWaH) am a father, where is my honor?” How does a son honor his earthly father? Is it not to carry a good name? To uphold the family name in good standing. What if that son does not know his family name or who he is? Can he still honor his father as a father should be?

Can you see how all the Ten Commandments begin to run together? All ten are various aspects of properly worshiping YoHeWaH. In just a shallow study of the subject of honor, we are beginning to see how the third commandment, “You shall not make the name of YoHeWaH void,” directly ties into how Our Heavenly Father is honored.

YoHeWaH has sought such honor by building up His people and lending them the kind of liberty needed for them to honor Him, only to see dishonor and rejection. Then we see the pattern of a complete teardown of His people, only to have a repeat of the cycle again after YoHeWaH rebuilds and establishes His people out of abundant mercy for the sake of His Mighty Name.

Notice this example of an end-time establishment of YoHeWaH’s people in the Promised Land of America.

“Return, O faithless children, declares YoHeWaH; for I am your master; I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion (Pilgrims and Puritans to America). “‘And I will give you shepherds (Great Covenant Law teachers like William Bradford, John Westly, Jonathon Edwards and George Whitfield) after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. And when you have multiplied and been fruitful in the land, in those days (pre-civil war), declares YoHeWaH, they shall no more say, “The ark of the covenant of YoHeWaH (Covenant Law).” It shall not come to mind or be remembered or missed; it shall not be made again. At that time (Post Civil War via the establishment of the UNITED STATES) Jerusalem (America) shall be called the throne of YoHeWaH(the shining city on a hill), and all nations shall gather to it (the melting pot of diversity of all nations), to the presence of YoHeWaH in Jerusalem (the blessings of Abraham fulfilled, as YoHeWaH promised), and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heart. In those days the house of Judah shall join the house of Israel (north and south as one nation, post civil war), and together they shall come from the land of the north (joined under the Union’s success via their Civil war victory) to the land that I gave your fathers for a heritage (The promised Land of Deuteronomy 8). “‘I said, How I would set you among my sons, and give you a pleasant land, a heritage most beautiful of all nations. And I thought you would call me, My Father, and would not turn from following me. Surely, as a treacherous wife leaves her husband, so have you been treacherous to me, O house of Israel, declares YoHeWaH.’” A voice on the bare heights is heard, the weeping and pleading of Israel’s sons because they have perverted their way; they have forgotten YoHeWaH, your Mighty One. “Return, O faithless sons; I will heal your faithlessness.” Jeremiah 3:14–23

Christianity would turn up their nose at the commentary within this passage, but it is a fact. History shows that YoHeWaH never blessed the northern, so-called lost tribes of Israel in this way, not during Jeremiah’s day or anytime afterward in the ancient time frame or according to historical scholarship from that time forward until now. Christianity has no answer for when this passage has been fulfilled. We do. One only has to plug into their own theology the following statement, and it all becomes clear:

America is the end-time nation of Israel.

Notice how this passage ends in Jeremiah 3, as the situation changes and Israel wakes up to the knowledge of who they are and how they have not honored YoHeWaH.

“But from our youth the shameful thing (blessings have become a curse) has devoured all for which our fathers labored, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters. Let us lie down in our shame, and let our dishonor cover us. For we have sinned against YoHeWaH, our Mighty One, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day, and we have not obeyed the voice of YoHeWaH our Mighty One.” Jeremiah 3:24–25

From this text, we can take the following equation.

Dishonor = disobedience

Honor = obedience to Covenant Law.

Has Christianity honored their God? Is their God, YoHeWaH, the Covenant Lawgiver? Is there a change coming in the mindset of the people of YoHeWaH concerning these issues? Jeremiah 3:24–25 proves that a change (repentance) is coming. This work aims to provide enough information as to why such repentance is needed.
