Message To Glenn Beck Concerning “Restoring Covenant”, Part One
As an ordained Elder, commissioned to teach and restore The Almighty’s Covenant with Believers in The Most High and His Son, I was just ever so slightly overjoyed to hear Glenn Beck’s coming big event in 2020 was entitled, “Restoring Covenant”……. No matter how the event turns out, just the rise of the biblical term “Covenant” is a step in the right direction. My expectations are high, this event could be so much more than just a step in the right direction.
My wife and I have been following Glenn Beck since before his days at FOX News, when he was at that other network. When he went to Fox News, we were surprised, as many others were, to hear Beck make mention of not only The Bible, but also some of the specifics of scripture. He lifted the cause of a righteous people as it ties directly to overcoming corruption and how important righteousness was concerning the founding of our government, over 200 years prior.
The moment that stands out to me, within those months at Fox News, during his prime time afternoon slot on a major Cable News Network, was the many times Glenn Beck admonished his viewers to “Read Moses…..and when you’ve read Moses…..Read Him again and again.” An exhortation to actually study scripture, not just read it, like you read a best selling novel, then forget it, but actually study the scripture for the express purpose of “owning” its content. Beck correctly identified the words of Moses as the only way this country could return back to a right way and actually begin the process of overcoming corruption.
The very hint of “Reading Moses, again and again” brought our minds to one word……COVENANT. Long before that word flashed on the big screen in Dallas Texas, at what would be Glenn Beck’s largest, most successful summer event in 2012 called “Restoring Love”. I remember it well, as I sat beside my wife with children beside her, the event was exhausting, jammed packed with good…….no, great intentions of all the Glenn Beck band wagon who had made the journey to America’s cleanest city.
It was the end of the last night, the main event of Restoring Love, the big finish, as we looked at the jumbotron high above the house that Jerry built. Out of the blue flashed the word “COVENANT” in huge letters. It remained on the screen for about two seconds and we never saw it again. It was like The Almighty gave us a glimpse of what He would seven years later turn Beck’s sight toward. However, as fate and prophecy itself would have it, the next seven years would witness the wheels coming off the Glenn Beck band wagon, as the soon to be messenger of Covenant (See Malachi 3:1) would see some really hard times.
Fast forward to 2019, as faithful supporters of the Glenn Beck we all had come to love back in the 3.5 years of his rise between 2009 and the close of 2012….. We perked up, as we began to once again hear references to The Bible, which turned into cry's for Restoring Covenant and the event he was now planning to hold in the summer of 2020. It had become obvious to most of his everyday listeners, Glenn’s content was being driven by someone or something that would not allow anything to do with God or Bible. There were suddenly “Yes Men” standing in the way. The question was, who were the Yes Men reporting to?
Today, another question arises. Will Glenn Beck fully turn back to God himself, the way a true leader would do and step out to actually see the original covenant needed restoring in America at this time? His speech on his daily radio programs would suggest, he has his sights solely on restoring a covenant made by our founding fathers, more than 244 years ago. However, will the man who told us to “Read Moses” over and over again, not see, the covenant our founding fathers built our government upon was the covenant of The Bible, written by the very hand of Moses? And what’s more, would he be able to see that unless our nation begins to turn to the “DETAIL” of this original covenant, judgment was sure to come? If Beck could somehow speak with Our Founding Fathers today, would they not tell him to go back further in his studies, going to the source of all knowledge and truth? Especially if those same founding fathers could view the world as we see it today? No doubt, this is true. They most certainly would and with great haste urge such action.
I believe those founding fathers would talk in terms of a needed revolution. Not a revolution of guns and military might, but a revolution of righteousness, unlike anything “The Christian World” has witnessed before. Why would this be?……..Because, it is the Christian world who has caused the need for such a revolution, making void God’s Covenant Law not only in the process of salvation but in the process of abandoning our civic duty to our nation, as Believers. Fact is, once you come to know it, these two, the process of personal salvation and one’s civic duty can not be separated, for how can A Believer have love for his fellow man and thumb his or her nose at correcting governmental corruption. Christendom in America can not have its cake and eat it too.
I am reminded of the following text, along these lines.
“I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me; I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that was not called by my name. I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices; a people who provoke me to my face continually, sacrificing in gardens and making offerings on bricks; who sit in tombs, and spend the night in secret places; who eat pig’s flesh, and broth of tainted meat is in their vessels; who say, “Keep to yourself, do not come near me, FOR I AM TOO HOLY FOR YOU.” These are a smoke in my nostrils, a fire that burns all the day. Isaiah 65:1–5
The above text defines the attitude of most Christians today who believe they are holy, above rolling up their sleeves within a clearly flawed government, believing their standing in God’s eyes is better than it actually is. They rely on a coming rapture instead of fixing such a impaired leadership of the people. It also must be noted, Isaiah also prophecies the so called gathering Christianity is expecting in the sky will not come to their complacent dismay.
“Rise up, you women (Churches) who are at ease, hear my voice; you complacent daughters, give ear to my speech. In little more than a year
you will shudder, you complacent women; for the grape harvest fails, the fruit harvest will not come. Tremble, you women who are at ease, shudder, you complacent ones; strip, and make yourselves bare. Isaiah 32:9–11
Any troubleshooter of problems, knows there are surface problems evident to everyone who has eyes to see, and there are root causes that have created those surface problems, which takes experts in the field to evaluate and repair to keep the surface problem from arising again. The surface problem in this nation is very clearly corruption at every level of life in America today…..But, what is the root cause of such issues?
Glenn Beck is all over this. He has been the dot connector for over a decade. He is literally just one troubleshooting step away from getting to the root of the problem, but will he have the LOVE and COURAGE, to HONOR Our Father in Heaven by restoring the missing ingredient, of which he admonished us all to read over and over again….the Covenant of God, Moses wrote about over 3000 years ago in the pages of scripture?
LOVE, COURAGE AND HONOR…… Glenn Beck’s viewers and listeners, know Glenn Beck looks to these attributes. He himself laid them as a foundation for the restoring of Covenant, in the years between 2010 and 2012.
However, does Glenn Beck really know what Covenant is? The true Covenant of Our Creator and King?
My message to Glenn Beck concerns this missing troubleshooting piece of knowledge, for I am quite sure, the answer to the above question is…. “No, Glenn Beck does not know the detail of Covenant Law, nor its implication to the true restoration of America, The Almighty’s Kingdom.”
Thus far, I myself have simply laid a foundation for the true meaning of the teaching of covenant. In Part Two, I will bring you the case from scripture, the source and true foundation of all knowledge……The very word of The Most High, God.
