Message To Glenn Beck Concerning “Restoring Covenant”, Part Two
The Almighty gave His Covenant Law of Liberty to His people Israel are mount Sinai over 3000 years ago. However, few students of scripture consider, this law was and is still Eternal. It predates that Mount Sinai event for about 3000 years and it will post date this very moment for another 2000 years, at least. It is Everlasting, just as God Himself is Eternal.
So what is Covenant Law?
The words of the law itself were written in a book…… No, not the Bible, although, they are also found in The Bible and in a moment, I’ll tell you where in The Bible you can read them, but there exist a single book, holding the exclusive words of Covenant and Covenant alone. That book is called “The Book of The Covenant”. This book is also called “The Book of The Law”. A book with two titles, but one single book, as we shall see. Notice the first place this book is introduced into scripture.
“Then he took The Book of The Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people; and they said, “All that The Eternal has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!” Exodus 24:7
Moses had written in this book, the words Israel had heard thundered directly from the mouth of YHWH, from Mount Sinai, just hours earlier. He wrote them in the book as the first of three entries into this “Book of The Covenant/Law” for the way to peace, life, liberty and happiness. Sound familiar? i.e. 1776/1791.
This first entry into this book of peace, life, liberty and happiness were the words YHWH spoke in Exodus chapters 20 through 23. If you are serious about Glenn Beck’s vision to restore covenant in this nation, you should make it the highest priority to not only read this section of your Bible but remember the words, Glenn Beck stated back in 2009 and 2010 during His Fox News 5 PM time slot, when he stated on several occasions….. “We should all be reading Moses…..And when you have finished reading Moses, Read Him again and Again.”
These four chapters of The Bible are tantamount to not only the restoration of true government in this country of America, but to the coming Kingdom of God Himself. They are in fact, the very testimony of Christ, Himself. I have challenged many times before and I will do so again, in this article…..Read Exodus 20 through 24 and compare the well known words of Christ…..Do you see anything at all, within these four chapters of Moses that goes against the words of Christ?
The answer, you will find, is none. Not one thing. In fact, these four chapters and the words of Christ are a spot on match. Why? Two reasons……
- The Member of The YHWH Family that thundered these words from Mount Sinai was in fact the same member of The Father’s Family that was to become Christ. Notice Paul’s words on this very subject.
For I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea; and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; and all drank the same spiritual drink, and all ate the same spiritual food; for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ. 1 Corinthians 10:1–4
And to further nail down this point. Yeshua, The Christ said this:
“Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One who is from God; He has seen the Father.” John 6:46
And
No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.” John 1:18
And
“And the Father who sent Me, He has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form.” John 5:37
So, Yeshua’s words are quite clear. No man has either seen The Father or heard His voice. Yet, in Exodus 24 we read this:
“Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself.” Exodus 24:9–10
So, 74 men of Israel not only heard the voice of The God of Israel just hours earlier on this day, as He thundered His Covenant Law from the top of Mount Sinai, here in this text, we find these same 74 men actually saw this God of Israel…… This was not The Father and it wasn’t some ghostly Being called The Holy Spirit. It was an actual man like Being of whom we were made in the image of. This Being was Christ.
2. All Christians would agree the words of Christ are hung upon two great laws…… Love toward God and Love toward your fellow man. No one would disagree with that statement…….. And yet, Christianity teaches, God’s law is abolished because it can not be kept. It’s too harsh and actually goes against the teachings of Christ. It is to this last mentioned mindset that my challenge is quickly directed. Find me anything, anything at all, in Exodus 20 through 24 that goes against what Christ taught.
Fact is, the words of Exodus 20 through 24 are the very foundation of “love toward God and Love toward your fellow man”, for Covenant Law is the instructions of how to properly worship YHWH, Our Father and instructions of how to righteously and justly live with your fellow man. The very foundation of Christ ministry almost 2,000 years ago, in the flesh.
Now, this should be a V8 moment for any truth seeker:
But wait, there’s more. Much more………..
40 years later, Moses added a second entry to this “Book of The Covenant/Law”. In this second entry, Moses added detail to the four chapters he wrote four decades earlier. This second entry can be found in Deuteronomy 4 through 31.
In these 28 chapters of your Bible we find, once again, the principles of how to worship God properly and how to live justly with our fellow man. Not one word of any sacrificial or ceremonial law, which was ADDED for a temporal time period to Israel’s service, until the time Christ would come and restore a true, pure covenant law once again. More on this in a moment, but first notice Moses’ words concerning this entry into “The Book of The Covenant/Law”:
Glenn Beck……. If you ever are blessed to read this article, pay careful attention to these words….Read them again and again. Study and consider the words in bold caps.
“It came about, when Moses finished writing the words of this law in a book until they were complete, that Moses commanded the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of THE ETERNAL, saying, ‘Take this BOOK OF THE LAW and place it beside the ark of the covenant of THE ETERNAL your God, that it may remain there as a witness AGAINST you. ‘For I know your rebellion and your stubbornness; behold, while I am still alive with you today, you have been rebellious against THE ETERNAL; how much more, then, after my death? ‘Assemble to me all the elders of your tribes and your officers, that I may speak these words in their hearing and call the heavens and the earth to witness against them. “For I know that after my death you will UTTERLY CORRUPT and turn from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you IN THE LAST DAYS for you will do that which is evil in the sight of THE ETERNAL, provoking Him to anger with the work of your hands.’” Deuteronomy 31:24–29
Moses admonished the leadership of ancient Israel to pay careful attention to the words of this “Book of The Covenant”, but he knew, there would come a time, “IN THE LAST DAYS”, the men of Israel would not be mindful of the words of this covenant and would become “UTTERLY CORRUPT”, TURNING AWAY FROM THE WORDS OF THIS COVENANT.
Now, there is a part three to this series on the Book of The Covenant, for the wealth of scriptural information of Covenant Law is far too vast to stop here, but……..
BUT TO GLENN BECK I SAY:
Will you not consider the words of Moses, as he repeats and expounds upon the very thoughts of Our Creator concerning Covenant Law, making these words, the focal point of your coming event? It may be that your role in prophetic events is to bring to life the very words of life itself.
More coming in part three……
