Spiritual Adultery… Good Ole Boy Style
Spiritual Adultery — Plain and Simple
Now listen up, folks. We ain’t here to sugarcoat anything. The Bible’s full of this idea of spiritual adultery, and it’s high time we talk about it straight up. If you ain’t thought about it before, there’s a reason why religion — real or fake — has a certain, let’s say, intimate nature to it. And that includes the true faith found in the Good Book, no matter what name you slap on it.
Now, let’s lay down a big ol’ mystery for you, something we’ve been hinting at but need to spell out loud and clear.
Earlier, we made the case that not all folks have souls and that in the grand spiritual scheme of things, all true Believers are like the “female” side of the equation. A soul is kinda like a womb in your mind, where the Almighty — YoHeWaH — puts His life-giving Spirit, kinda like planting a seed.
Here’s a Lesson for You:
There’s a big ol’ difference between the Spirit of YoHeWaH just being around a person and His Spirit living inside a person. The Apostle Paul makes this clear as a bright summer day when he says:
“Don’t you know that you are a temple of YoHeWaH, and that His Spirit lives in you?” — 1 Corinthians 3:16
See, Jesus Himself talked about this when He told His disciples:
“If you love me, you’ll do what I say. And I’ll ask the Father to send you a Helper, the Spirit of Truth. The world can’t receive Him because it doesn’t see or know Him. But you know Him, because He’s been WITH you (like nearby) but will soon be IN you (deep inside).” — John 14:15–17
Now, before Jesus died and rose again, the Spirit was kinda just hanging around the disciples. But after Pentecost? That Spirit moved in! Like a farmer planting seed in good soil.
That’s something you won’t hear in your average Sunday morning sermon, but it’s a big ol’ piece of truth to chew on. So now, let’s get to the heart of the matter — what this has to do with spiritual adultery and what YoHeWaH is really up to with His Believers.
Burn This Into Your Brain:
The whole reason we humans exist is this:
YoHeWaH is reproducing Himself after His own kind, and we — His Believers — are the ones carrying that process forward.
It ain’t about getting into heaven or whatever feel-good message folks preach these days. No sir. You were called because you earned the right — through your past character and choices — to be a vessel, a wife if you will, to carry His soon-to-be-born children into His family.
Another Lesson for You:
Now, we’re gonna drop a nugget of wisdom on you. The Apostle Paul wrote a lot, but you gotta remember — he was writing to folks back then, and times were different. There’s a difference between the 119 generations of time that have come before us and the 120th and final one we’re living in now.
Moses wrote:
“Then YoHeWaH said, ‘My Spirit won’t stay with man forever, because he’s just flesh; his days will be 120 years.’” — Genesis 6:3
Now, that word years don’t just mean your granddaddy’s birthday count. It means cycles of time. And if you do the math, 6,000 years of history divided by 120? That gives you 50-year Jubilee cycles. And that’s exactly how YoHeWaH told Israel to keep track of time in Leviticus 25.
Now, we’ll dig into why the first 119 time periods were different from this last one later on, but for now, just chew on this — every single soul in history, from Adam until now, is living right now in this final generation.
So sometimes what Paul said might not apply to us exactly like it did back then, and vice versa. But here’s what he said to the Romans about all this:
“You’re not in the flesh but in the Spirit — IF the Spirit of YoHeWaH lives inside you. If you don’t have the Spirit of Christ, you don’t belong to Him. But IF Christ is in you, even though your body’s dying because of sin, your spirit is alive because of righteousness. If the Spirit of the One who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He’ll also give life to your mortal body. So then, brothers, we don’t owe the flesh a dang thing. If you live by the flesh, you’ll die. But IF by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you’ll live. Because everyone who is led by YoHeWaH’s Spirit is His child. You didn’t receive a spirit of slavery, but a Spirit of Sonship, where we cry out, ‘Abba! Father!’ The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are YoHeWaH’s kids. And if we’re His kids, then we’re heirs — co-heirs with Christ — IF we suffer with Him so we can be glorified with Him.” — Romans 8:9–17
Wrap It Up
So here’s the bottom line, plain and simple:
YoHeWaH ain’t in the business of just saving folks to get them into heaven. He’s in the business of growing a family — His own kind. And if you’re a Believer, you ain’t just along for the ride — you’re part of the process, the vessel through which His plan is coming to life.
But just like in a marriage, if you step out on that commitment, if you go mixing in other spirits, other beliefs, or false teachings, well… that’s spiritual adultery. That’s cheating on YoHeWaH.
And folks, that ain’t something to take lightly.
Now, chew on that, and let it settle in. Because once you see it, you can’t unsee it.
Alright, partner, let’s break this down Texas-style — plain talk, straight shootin’, and none of that highfalutin language. Here’s how it might sound if a good ol’ boy was layin’ it out on the front porch with a glass of sweet tea in hand:
Now listen up, y’all, ’cause we got ourselves some mighty deep truth sittin’ right here in this scripture, and it’s worth chewin’ on. Let’s take it piece by piece:
- First off, you see that little word “if” poppin’ up in Paul’s writin’? That ain’t just for decoration. That means there’s a condition — some fine print, if you will. You don’t just waltz into the Kingdom ’cause you feel like it. There’s a way to go about it, and if you don’t, well, you might just find yourself on the wrong side of the fence.
- Then we got this word “in.” Now that’s important. That’s tellin’ us that YoHeWaH’s Spirit ain’t just floatin’ around outside somewhere — it’s gotta be livin’ inside you. Before Jesus was nailed to that cross, His Spirit was with folks, but after? It’s supposed to be in ’em. That’s a game-changer, right there.
- Now, this is where you need to put your thinkin’ hat on. Paul says, “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit.” Well now, that means we got a spirit inside us that ain’t the same as YoHeWaH’s Spirit. And if His Spirit is called “He” and is the life-giver, then what does that make ours? Wouldn’t that make it female? Like a woman’s womb meant to carry a man’s seed? Well, we believe so, and when you look at scripture, it sure does make a whole lotta sense.
- Paul keeps callin’ believers “sons” of YoHeWaH — not wives, not daughters. Now, why’s that? Well, that ties into somethin’ real deep, somethin’ tied to time itself. See, all them generations from Adam up ’til now? They were all buildin’ up to one big moment — what the Bible calls the Day of YoHeWaH’s Visitation. That’s when every soul that’s ever walked this earth gets sorted out — blessed or cursed. All them scriptures, all them teachings? They were settin’ folks up to be in the best possible place for that moment. And what’s the best place? Bein’ part of the bride, carryin’ the Spirit like a wife carries a husband’s child. That’s the goal.
Now, when you look at the world today, you got two kinds of folks:
- The ones holdin’ tight to the Covenant Law, stickin’ to what YoHeWaH laid out.
- And the ones who tossed it aside, thinkin’ they got a better way.
Daniel 12:1–3 lays it out plain: When the trouble comes, some folks are gonna shine bright, and others… well, let’s just say it ain’t gonna be pretty.
Now, let’s talk about somethin’ folks don’t always like to hear — spiritual adultery. This ain’t just about cheatin’ on your spouse; this is about cheatin’ on YoHeWaH. You ever heard of the Queen of Heaven? That’s an old name, goes back to Isis, Astarte, all them ancient pagan gods. Today, folks call her Easter. Yep, you heard that right. She’s been around a long time, trickin’ folks into worshipin’ her instead of YoHeWaH. And guess what? She’s the same as that “Great Whore” talked about in Revelation.
And who’s sittin’ right at the center of all that mess?
- The Roman Catholic Church — the big mama of ’em all.
- And her daughters — the Protestant churches that broke off but kept a whole mess of her ways.
And what’s the biggest lie they both been spreadin’? That YoHeWaH’s Covenant Law don’t matter anymore. That right there is the heart of the deception.
The Bible’s full of warnings ‘bout this, but let me hit you with a few:
- Jeremiah 11:1–5 — YoHeWaH says straight up, if you don’t keep His covenant, you’re cursed.
- Jeremiah 22:1–9 — Same thing, says if folks turn away from the Covenant, the whole nation’s gonna fall apart.
- Hosea 8:1–3 — Israel hollerin’ “Oh, we know You, God!” but then turnin’ right ‘round and doin’ the opposite. Sound familiar?
Now, I know this is a lot, but stick with me. Jeremiah even says, “Run through the streets and see if you can find just ONE person doin’ right.” He couldn’t! The folks in charge? They’d turned away. The regular folks? They didn’t know any better. And so YoHeWaH let ’em fall. And if you don’t think that applies to today, you ain’t lookin’ close enough.
And then there’s Jeremiah 23 — talkin’ ‘bout preachers leadin’ their flocks straight into trouble, tellin’ folks, “Oh, don’t worry, everything’s fine!” when it sure ain’t. He says they prophesy outta their own heads, not from YoHeWaH. And when the storm of YoHeWaH comes, it’s gonna hit ’em hard.
Listen, y’all. We ain’t makin’ this up. This ain’t some wild-eyed conspiracy theory. This is straight from the Good Book. And it’s sayin’ in no uncertain terms that in these latter days, folks are gonna understand this clear as day.
So here’s the bottom line: You stick to Covenant Law, or you don’t. Ain’t no middle ground. YoHeWaH’s got His ways, and they ain’t changed, no matter what some preacher in a fancy suit tells you.
And if you think you can live however you want and still be in good standin’ with the Almighty… well, buddy, you’re in for a rude awakenin’ when the time comes.
