Chapter 21 of “The Book Of The Covenant, A Witness Against America”

In the introduction of this work, we opened with a brief explanation as to why we use the true written family name of YHWH (YoHeWaH) instead of LORD, God and/or Jesus. We stated, we would lend a further explanation as to why the vowel points we use are placed where they are in the above name, causing us to have some sort of pronunciation for reading purposes, even though we know, no one of the nation of Israel knows such a speaking of the said name.

Within this chapter of this work, we will do just that…. Explain our line of thinking concerning why we chose this pronunciation instead of any of the others banded about within the so called Hebrew Roots and Messianic Judaism circles in existence today.

What you are about to read within this chapter is in our opinion, one of the greatest mysteries explained in all of the history of mankind and we do not think that statement to be hyperbole. Like the story of the prophesied Hivite (Negro) slaves from the story of Joshua 9 and Isaiah 14 which spanned an equally long period of time of fulfillment, so too, this story shows the vastness of YoHeWaH’s Devine sight, covering several millennia of time.

Springing from the seed line of Abraham apart from that of Jacob/Israel was the only righteous line Esau can boast of, that being the stock deriving from his son Reuel who took wives from the seed line of Abraham unlike his father Esau and all the other of his brothers who took the daughters of the forbidden Negro Canaanites for their wives.

One of the characteristics of the tribes of Esau, now known as Edom, was that they called their sons via the family name of the patriarch. One such son of Reuel, generations later, was Moses’ father in law who is known by a total of three names in scripture.

“JETHRO, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father-in-law, heard of all that The Almighty had done for Moses and for Israel his people, how YoHeWah had brought Israel out of Egypt.” Exodus 18:1

And

“And Moses said to HOBAB the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are setting out for the place of which YoHeWaH said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will do good to you, for YoHeWaH has promised good to Israel.” Numbers 10:29

And

“Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came and drew water and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock. The shepherds came and drove them away, but Moses stood up and saved them, and watered their flock. When they came home to their father REUEL, he said, “How is it that you have come home so soon today?” They said, “An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds and even drew water for us and watered the flock.” He said to his daughters, “Then where is he? Why have you left the man? Call him, that he may eat bread.” And Moses was content to dwell with the man, and he gave Moses his daughter Zipporah. She gave birth to a son, and he called his name Gershom, for he said, “I have been a sojourner in a foreign land.” Exodus 2:16–22

So did Moses’ Father-in-law have three different names? Well, yes and no.

First of all, Jethro is a title, not a given name, meaning eminent or lofty or high.

Reuel was of course the family sir name Esau Edom used for his tribal identification. So Reuel would have been like an American last name.

This leaves Hobab, as the given first name of Moses’ Father-in-law. Thus Moses’ Father-in-law could have been fully known as Hobab Reuel, Jethro of Midian.

Now Hobab had no sons that we know of, however, this bloodline continued through others of the clan of Reuel down to a man by the name of Rechab who had a son, mighty and loyal to the ways of YoHeWaH. His name was Johonadab.

“And when he departed from there, he met Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him. And he greeted him and said to him, “Is your heart true to my heart as mine is to yours?” And Jehonadab answered, “It is.” Jehu said, “If it is, give me your hand.” So he gave him his hand. And Jehu took him up with him into the chariot. And he said, “Come with me, and see my zeal for YoHeWaH.” So he had him ride in his chariot. And when he came to Samaria, he struck down all who remained to Ahab in Samaria, till he had wiped them out, according to the word of YoHeWaH that he spoke to Elijah.” 2Kings 10:15–17

Now Jehu was the closest thing the northern nation of Israel had to a righteous King in all of its history. Jehu was credited for destroying the temple of Baal and murdering all the worshipers of Baal within the city, a token of righteousness within the sight of YoHeWaH. This man Jehonadab, the son of Rechab was instrumental in carrying out such a slaughter of unrighteousness.

Fast forward many kings to the time of Jeremiah The Prophet, when we will find out just how loyal the descendants of this man Jehonadab truly was to their earthly father, being tested of Almighty YoHeWaH.

“The word that came to Jeremiah from YoHeWaH in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah: “Go to the house of the Rechabites and speak with them and bring them to the house of YoHeWaH, into one of the chambers; then offer them wine to drink.” So I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, son of Habazziniah and his brothers and all his sons and the whole house of the Rechabites. I brought them to the house of YoHeWaH into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of YoHeWaH, which was near the chamber of the officials, above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, keeper of the threshold. Then I set before the Rechabites pitchers full of wine, and cups, and I said to them, “Drink wine.” But they answered, “We will drink no wine, for Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, commanded us, ‘You shall not drink wine, neither you nor your sons forever. You shall not build a house; you shall not sow seed; you shall not plant or have a vineyard; but you shall live in tents all your days, that you may live many days in the land where you sojourn.’ We have obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, in all that he commanded us, to drink no wine all our days, ourselves, our wives, our sons, or our daughters, and not to build houses to dwell in. We have no vineyard or field or seed, but we have lived in tents and have obeyed and done all that Jonadab our father commanded us. But when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against the land, we said, ‘Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans and the army of the Syrians.’ So we are living in Jerusalem.” Jeremiah 35:1–11

Now at that time, YoHeWaH was just a little more than put out with the men of Judah being disobedient to Him, rejecting Him in leu of their idolatry toward The Queen of Heaven, Ishtar, known today as Easter. Judah was commissioned from back in the time of Jacob/Israel’s blessing given to all of the 12 tribes of Israel in Genesis 49 to carry the detail of the oral law. Thus, Judah played a major role in the knowledge of some of the points of doctrine for all Israel. Because of the idolatry of Judah toward The Queen of Heaven, YoHeWaH was about to remove some of that blessed knowledge and give it to another tribe to carry down through time, but not of any of the tribes of Jacob/Israel, as we shall soon see. The story of Jeremiah 35 continues….

Then the word of YoHeWaH came to Jeremiah: “Thus says YoHeWaH of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Go and say to the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will you not receive instruction and listen to my words? declares YoHeWaH. The command that Jonadab the son of Rechab gave to his sons, to drink no wine, has been kept, and they drink none to this day, for they have obeyed their father’s command. I have spoken to you persistently, but you have not listened to me. I have sent to you all my servants the prophets, sending them persistently, saying, ‘Turn now every one of you from his evil way, and amend your deeds, and do not go after other gods to serve them, AND THEN YOU SHALL DWELL IN THE LAND THAT I GAVE TO YOU AND YOUR FATHERS.’ But you did not incline your ear or listen to me. The sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have kept the command that their father gave them, but this people has not obeyed me. Therefore, thus says YoHeWaH, the Mighty One of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Behold, I am bringing upon Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the disaster that I have pronounced against them, because I have spoken to them and they have not listened, I have called to them and they have not answered.” Jeremiah 35:12–17

The test was complete and the men of Rechab, the sons of Jehonadab passed the test…. Now YoHeWaH had an avenue for His knowledge that He desired to remove from Judah to be carried by another family, having proved the kind of loyalty YoHeWaH was looking for. The stage was set for disaster to come upon the people of Judah in more ways than they could ever know, lasting until this very day.

Teachable Moment: If you have eyes to see, you can pick out little clues pointing to the fact, the true intended promised land was simply not in the middle eastern land of Palestine, called Jerusalem. The statement from the above passage, “AND THEN YOU SHALL DWELL IN THE LAND THAT I GAVE TO YOU AND YOUR FATHERS” is a direct proof that land spoken of in this text and in Deuteronomy chapter 8, a land flowing with milk and honey, a land to which Israel would eat bread without scarcity and out of whose hills an abundance of copper and iron would be dug, was simply not the land Judah was dwelling in, at that time, at the time of Jeremiah’s writing. It would make no sense whatsoever for YoHeWaH to state that if Judah turned back to Him that He would bring them into a land they already dwelt in. But we digress, slightly.

The story continues…

“But to the house of the Rechabites Jeremiah said, “Thus says YoHeWaH of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Because you have obeyed the command of Jonadab your father and kept all his precepts and done all that he commanded you, therefore thus says YoHeWaH of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Jonadab the son of Rechab shall never lack a man to stand before me.” Jeremiah 35:18–19

The words, Jonadab the son of Rechab shall never lack a man to stand before me.” denote one of the greatest blessings in all of scripture. Our research shows, YoHeWaH removed two blessed pieces of knowledge from Judah, placing such knowledge with the house of Rechab until this very day. More on this in just a moment, however, staying here in Jeremiah 35, we must take a close look at these men of Rechab to know more about whom these people are today. From the above text we can ascertain the following points of information.

1 — These men could not hold their liquor. Their father Jehonadab recognized this fact, being a man of righteousness, desiring to have a good name, instructed his sons to never ever touch the stuff because there was something in their DNA that causes them to become vial when drunk.

2 — The sons of Rechab were to never build houses but rather were to dwell in tents.

3 — The sons of Rechab were to never plant crops but rather were to live off the land as hunters.

4 — Extra biblical history shows these men were horsemen, used by Solomon to train the horses of Solomon’s stables.

“Solomon also had 40,000 stalls of horses for his chariots, and 12,000 horsemen. And those officers supplied provisions for King Solomon, and for all who came to King Solomon’s table, each one in his month. They let nothing be lacking. Barley also and straw for the horses and swift steeds they brought to the place where it was required, each according to his duty.” 1Kings 4:24–26

Think critically concerning what peoples of the modern era (the last 400 years or so) are horsemen, who hunt for a living, who dwell in tents, who do not plant crops and simply can not ever handle strong drink, at all?

Before you answer, consider just some of the information we will convey from the writings of James Adair, the foremost authority on the North American Indians. James Adair lived with various tribes of Indians for 40 years in the middle to late 18th century, here in America.

You can find James Adair’s complete work at the following link, which is a wealth of information concerning this hidden, indigenous people, who we believe hail from the Biblical people known as Rechabites during Jeremiah’s day and would be known as the only righteous line of Esau Edom, twin brother of Jacob/Israel.

Now, it must be noted, Adair makes the claim, the North American Indians are the actual lost tribes of Israel. We know this is simply incorrect. However, the claim is not far off base. As we have already witnessed the clan of Rechab was very closely tied to the nation of Israel and Judah during the time of the kings, as well as the period of the Exodus via Moses’ Father-in-law. This would have meant this Edomite bloodline would have taken on Israel’s ways to which we see in Adair’s writing.

James Adair’s work is massive. It may be the most in-depth task devoted to any given thing completed in the modern world. To prove our point, we could literally quote for hours from his labor of love, which would add to the extensiveness of this work on The Book Of The Covenant. So, instead, we will simply create bullet point summations adding just a few quotations throughout accordingly. I strongly encourage anyone truly interested in early American history to copy and paste Adair’s work into a read engine and listen while you read his book a little at a time. It is a ton to ingest by simply reading.

It must be noted before we begin this skeletal construct of Adair’s categorization of the pre-modern Americans, we must point out, these points are concerning the eastern American Indians hailing from Rechabite heritage and simply do not fit the western American Indians hailing from Canaanite descent.

1 — The North American Indians were experts at avoiding idolatry, a task to which the nation of Israel, anciently and modernly has failed at every turn of their history.

“They pay no religious worship to stocks, or stones, after the manner of the old eastern pagans; neither do they worship any kind of images whatsoever” Argument II, section 15 of History Of The American Indians

And

“They do not pay the least perceivable adoration to any images, or to dead persons; neither to the celestial luminaries, nor evil spirits, nor any created being whatsoever. They are utter strangers to all the gestures practiced by the pagans in their religious rites. They kiss no idols; nor, if they were placed out of their reach, would they kiss their hands, in token of reverence and a willing obedience.” Argument II, section 15 of History Of The American Indians

2 — The North American Indians place the highest devotion to The Greatest of all Spiritual Beings, the One they call YoHeWaH.

“The American Indians are so far from being Atheists, as some godless Europeans have flattered themselves, to excuse their own infidelity, that they have the great sacred name of God, that describes his divine essence, and by which he manifested himself to Moses — and are firmly persuaded they now live under the immediate government of the Deity.” Argument III, section 33 of History Of The American Indians

3 — The North American Indians observe time via the heavenly bodies YoHeWaH placed in the sky originally.

“They count Time after the manner of the Hebrews.

They divide the year into spring — summer — autumn, or the fall of the leaf — and winter: which the Cheerake Indians call Kogeh, Akooèa, Oolekóhstè, Kòra; and the Chikkasah and Choktah nation, Otoolpha, Tóme palle, Ashtòra-móona, Ashtòra. Kógeh is drawn from Anantòge, the general appellation for the sun and moon; because, when the sun returns from the southern hemisphere, he covers the vegetable world with a green livery.” Argument VI, section 73 of History Of The American Indians

And

“They number their years by any of those four periods, for they have no name for a year; and they subdivide these, and count the year by lunar months, like the Israelites, who counted by moons, as their name sufficiently testifies; for they called them ירחים, the plural of ירח, the moon. The Indians have no distinct proper name for the sun and moon; one word, with a note of distinction, expresses both — for example; the Cheerake {74} call the sun Eus-se A-nan-tó-ge, “the day-moon, or sun;” and the latter, Neus-se A-nan-tó-ge, or “the night-sun, or moon.” In like manner, the Chikkasah and Choktah term the one, Neetak-Hasséh, and the other, Neennak-Hasséh; for Neetak signifies “a day,” and Neennak, “a night.” Argument VI, section 73 of History Of The American Indians

And

“The method of counting time by weeks, or sevenths, was a very ancient custom, practiced by the Syrians, Egyptians, and most of the oriental nations; and it evidently is a remain of the tradition of the creation. The Creator, indeed, renewed to the Hebrews the old precept of sanctifying the seventh day, on a particular occasion. And Christianity promoted that religious observance in the western world, in remembrance of the work of redemption. The Greeks counted time by decades, or tens; and the Romans by nines, or ninths. The number, and regular periods of the Indians public religious feasts, of which presently, is a good historical proof, that they counted time by, and observed a weekly sabbath, long after their arrival on the American continent.” Argument VI, section 74 of History Of The American Indians

And

They begin the year, at the first appearance of the first new moon of the vernal æquinox, according to the ecclesiastical year of Moses: and those synodical months, each consist of twenty-nine days, twelve hours, and forty odd minutes; which make the moons, alternately, to consist of twenty-nine and of thirty days. They pay a great regard to the first appearance of every new moon, and, on the occasion, always repeat some joyful sounds, and stretch out their hands towards her — but at such times they offer no public sacrifice.” Argument VI, section 75 of History Of The American Indians

4 — The government of ancient Israel has been followed and imitated within the North American Indian framework of administration.

“In conformity to, or after the manner of the Jews, the Indian Americans have their Prophets, High-Priests, and others of a religious order.” Argument VII, section 79 of History Of The American Indians

5 — The North American Indians’ Festivals, Fasts, and Religious Rites, have also a great resemblance to those of the Hebrews.

“The Indians formerly observed the grand festival of the annual expiation of sin, at the beginning of the first new moon, in which their corn became full-eared; but for many years past they are regulated by the season of their harvest. And on that head, they shew more religious patience than the Hebrews formerly did; who, instead of waiting till their grain was ripe, forced their barley, which ripened before any other sort they planted. And they are perhaps as skillful in observing the revolutions of the moon, as ever the Israelites were, at least till the end of the first temple; for during that period, instead of measuring time by astronomical calculations, they knew it only by the phases of the moon. In like manner, the supposed red Hebrews of the American desarts, annually observed their festivals, and Neetak Yáh-àh, “days of afflicting themselves before the Deity,” at a prefixed time of a certain moon.” Argument VIII, section 98 of History Of The American Indians

6 — The North American Indians held a strong belief in separating the clean from the unclean.

“The Indians have customs consonant to the Mosaic Laws of Uncleanness. They oblige their women in their lunar retreats, to build small huts, at as considerable a distance from their dwelling-houses, as they imagine may be out of the enemies reach; where, during the space of that period, they are obliged to stay at the risque of their lives.” Argument XI, section 122 of History Of The American Indians

7 — The admonition to abstain from strong drink, still resides with The North American Indians at the time of Adair’s work.

“When some of them first corrupted their primitive virtue, by drinking of our spirituous liquors, the religious spectators called it ooka hoome, “bitter waters;” alluding, I conjecture, to the bitter waters of jealousy, that produced swelling and death to those who committed adultery, but had no power over the innocent. That this name is not accidental, but designedly pointed, and expressive of the bitter waters of God, seems obvious, not only from the image they still retain of them, but likewise when any of them refuse our invitation of drinking spirituous liquors in company with us, they say Ahiskola Awa, Ooka Hoomeh Ishto, “I will not drink, they are the bitter waters of the great One.” Though Ishto, one of the names of God, subjoined to nouns, denotes a superlative degree, in this case they deviate from that general rule — and for this reason they never affix the idea of bitter to the spirituous liquors we drink among them. Hoomeh is the only word they have to convey the meaning of bitter; as Aneh Hoomeh, “bitter ears,” or pepper.” Argument XII, section 129 of History Of The American Indians

8 — The North American Indians ate a proper diet, abstaining from all Biblical unclean animals, eating only that which they deemed as clean, by their understanding, which matched scripture.

“I once asked the Archimagus, to sit down and partake of my dinner; but he excused himself, saying, he had in a few days some holy duty to perform, and that if he eat evil or accursed food, it would spoil him, — alluding to swine’s flesh.” Argument XII, section 133 of History Of The American Indians

And the list could go on and on and on concerning the ancient Hebrew customs of The North American Indians in the eastern portion of America. However, Adair never made the connection to the Rechabites of Jeremiah 35, as best that we can tell…. But we have. So, it begs the question. How did the Rechabites make their way to America in the first place?

The mainstream thought on the origin of the American Indians descent places their infancy 10 to 25 thousand years ago…. Like there was anyone around during such a time. We have looked at some of the evidence for such an argument, which is all based upon carbon dating, a totally flawed process where almighty Science becomes God.

There is no doubt an answer as to how these people arrived in what we would call the New World, and we are not saying we have such an answer. However, the evidence is vast from James Adair’s work the North American Indian customs shows a certain tie to Hebrew descent that is beyond belief once studied out.

Maybe, they came on one of Solomon’s ships as he gathered materials for the temple. Almost all such materials hail from America’s wealthy ground supply and it would have taken workers to gather such materials. We know Solomon sent ships westward to gather other materials for other reasons from the following passage.

For the king had a fleet of ships of Tarshish at sea with the fleet of Hiram. Once every three years the fleet of ships of Tarshish used to come bringing gold, silver, ivory, and cut stones. 1Kings 10:22

Maybe the evidence seems circumstantial to some, but to us, we see YoHeWaH’s Devine providence at work.

Now, with that said, allow us to elaborate on the two blessings that we believe YoHeWaH removed from the tribe of Judah to which He certainly did give those blessings to The Rechabites to be brought to this land thousands of years later, when YoHeWaH’s people, the regathered House of Israel would one day return to such knowledge.

1 — The spoken name of YoHeWaH. Whether the pronunciation of YoHeWaH is correct or not, very clearly, The North American Indians have sustained that name down through time far better than the LORD, God and Jesus Israelites.

Reconsider the text:

But to the house of the Rechabites Jeremiah said, “Thus says YoHeWaH of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Because you have obeyed the command of Jonadab your father and kept all his precepts and done all that he commanded you, therefore thus says YoHeWaH of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: Jonadab the son of Rechab shall never lack a man to stand before me.” Jeremiah 35:18–19

What does it take for a man to stand before YoHeWaH? Answer… Relationship. Knowing and speaking one’s personal name has to be a prerequisite for this level of relationship, wouldn’t you think.

2 — The true weekly Sabbath. Very clearly from a first person eye witness of James Adair, over 40 plus years of actually living with various tribes of the North American Indians, we read how they numbered their weeks by the phases of the moon and counted their months via the new moon period.

Thus YoHeWaH removed the third and fourth commandment from the entire House of Israel, all 12 tribes, during the days of Jeremiah, commissioning the tribes of Rechab, who were proven to be faithful to the very end, to carry such knowledge to this very day. Knowing what we know about the subject of meditating upon the name of YoHeWaH and observing the true weekly Sabbath and Feast Days appointed throughout the year, there is a certain blessing removed from Israel because of these two commandments missing from our nation. A situation, scripture shows, will one day be reversed but not before a lot of judgment and pain for our people and nation.

Note the two passages showing the above fact…..

Therefore hear the word of YoHeWaH, all you of Judah who dwell in the land of Egypt: Behold, I have sworn by my great name, says YoHeWaH, that my name shall no more be invoked by the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, ‘As the Sovereign YoHeWaH lives.’ Jeremiah 44:26

And

He has laid waste his booth like a garden, laid in ruins his meeting place;
YoHeWaH has made Zion forget festival and Sabbath, and in his fierce indignation has spurned king and priest. Lamentations 2:6

In both cases, Jeremiah recorded YoHeWaH’s anger toward Judah for their insistence on idolatry.

So, the next question you might be asking might be…. Why are the North American Indians a cursed people today, having their lands and freedom removed by the big bully, the regathered House of Israel at this end time? The answer to that question might just lie within the subject of what brought them such a great blessing during Jeremiah’s day, in the first place….. Wine.

It wasn’t until the Indians began to take the white man’s strong drink that they started to loose their bounty upon the land. Time eventually caught up to the more righteous House of Rechab and the sin of the white man literally overtook righteousness. Was it all Devine providence to turn out that way? Only YoHeWaH knows that for sure, but we believe that to be the case.

Now concerning the Western American Indians that we believe research shows hail from Canaanite Descent. Please refer back to Chapter 19, “The Unforgiving YoHeWaH” for that information.
