The Reputation of YHWH
Chapter Three of The Book of The Covenant, A Witness Against America
“You shall not take the name of YoHeWaH your Mighty One in vain, for YoHeWaH your Mighty One will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.” Exodus 20:7
Except for the correct use of YHWH instead of the bastardized word “LORD”, the above passage is quoted, word for word directly out of The Bible. Now, read how it should be translated.
“You shall not lift up / receive the reputation of YoHeWaH your Mighty One void, for YoHeWaH will not hold him guiltless who lifts up or receives his name void.” Exodus 20:7
The underlined words in the text are key points of discussion for this chapter. So, let us cut to the chase and define these words right away.
Make or Lift up / receive — a verb, literally having to do with giving and receiving. As in hearing a thing, reading a thing or speaking a thing, as in hearing, reading or speaking a name. Pretty simple, right? However, I will add one very obvious but overlooked point to the hearing, reading and speaking aspect…. Thinking or meditating upon the name. This will become very important as we go forward in this chapter, so keep this in mind.
Name — We will be discussing this word in depth within this chapter, however, the shortened definition for now is simply “reputation or character, memorialized”.
Memorialized is added as the verb to the object of reputation or character, literally looking back in time, thus YoHeWaH’s name basically defines who He has been in the past, which will define who He will be.
LORD or YoHeWaH — The four vowels that make up the name of The Almighty is a family name. We would think of it as a last name today. The name is simply unpronounceable, as we shall soon see later in this chapter. It is sometimes referred to as the tetragrammaton. More on this later. It must be noted here as well, the word LORD (all caps) is a replacement of the actual name of YoHeWaH, which literally breaks the command right off the bat as the translators have, in the most blatant way, made the very name of YoHeWaH void, replacing it with LORD.
God or Mighty One — The title of God hails from the Hebrew word Elohim and Theos in the Greek. The use of the word God is somewhat questionable by some because of a combination of two texts, which we will address later in this chapter. Exodus 23:13 and Isaiah 65:11.
Vain or Void — literally means to make empty, as in a lie or void of truth, via a quick destruction, like that of a violent rushing storm.
Over 7,000 times in the pages of The Bible, the name of YoHeWaH has been replaced with the titles “the LORD” or “GOD”. Again, this action taken by the translators, breaks the structure of the third commandment, as YoHeWaH’s name is made void to the reader. Why is this such an important point of deception?
Teachable moment: Written names are never translated, they are transliterated. Spoken names are different. Some names are too difficult to pronounce. Thus, when this situation arises, the proper approach is to ask what the name means and translate the name into that spoken word.
A translation tells you the meaning of words in another language. A transliteration does not tell you the meaning of the words, but it helps you pronounce them. Transliteration changes the letters from one alphabet or language into the corresponding, similar-sounding characters of another alphabet.
Correct Transliteration: יהוה = YHWH
Incorrect Transliteration: יהוה = LORD
The LORD in the place of YoHeWaH is a translation of the name of YoHeWaH. So is the use of GOD in the place of YoHeWaH. Neither LORD nor GOD are names but rather they are titles. One might ask, “Isn’t it acceptable to call YoHeWaH by a title?” The answer to that question is this; it would be acceptable to call YHWH by a title if that title wasn’t the name or title of another Deity. Notice this command within the first entry of “The Book of The Covenant”.
“Pay attention to all that I have said to you and make no mention of the names of other gods, nor let it be heard on your lips.” Exodus 23:13
There are two false gods in scripture that cause the title of LORD and GOD to fall under this authoritative warning, directly from YoHeWaH. Notice the Strong’s Concordance definition of the Name Baal, the ancient God of The Canaanites:
Baal: owner, lord
Original Word: בַּעַל
Part of Speech: Noun Masculine
Transliteration: baal
Phonetic Spelling: (bah’-al)
Definition: owner, lord
It must be noted, anciently, people, places and things, were called for what they were known to be. Baal was known by his people as Lord or Owner. Titles, yes, but again, a title of a false God, now being applied to the One True Creator.
So, what about GOD? What makes the use of GOD so bad? The end time Prophet, Isaiah might lend some information concerning this Deity known as Gawd.
But you who forsake YHWH, who forget my holy mountain, who set a table for GAWD and fill cups of mixed wine for Destiny, I will destine you to the sword, and all of you shall bow down to the slaughter, because, when I called, you did not answer. when I spoke, you did not listen but you did what was evil in my eyes and chose what I did not delight in.” Isaiah 65:11–12
Gawd, pronounced god, was the ancient god of fortune or prosperity by cutting force. Gawd was one of the originators of what we would call today, socialism, which is not fortune at all, but rather a pathway to poverty. Gawd would be the best fit for the Prosperity Preachers, raking in millions of dollars while telling their parishioners how much GAWD will bless you if you give money to them.
You see, the deception runs very deep, causing YoHeWaH’s anger to be stretched out for what has been almost a full work week of Millenia years. 6,000 years YoHeWaH has put up with this kind of trickery placed upon His people.
Christians will say, “But God knows my heart.” Yeah, He does…. And that should scare you to death. YoHeWaH looks upon the intent of the heart and when the intent is to make His name void by replacing it willingly or to go along with replacing it willingly, the intent of the heart does not measure up to YoHeWaH’s standards.
This thought process of Christians of a “God of their own imagination”, one that is sugar coated and never judgmental at all, is totally void of a good understanding of the One True Creator. Take for instance the passage we just quoted, Isaiah 65:11–12. Did you catch the underlined statement, “I will destine you to the sword,”? Believers who continue to be willing to abolish or make void the name of YoHeWaH by use of false titles of pagan deities will come to a time when the sword will be brought upon them, spoken of time and time again throughout the “end time” Major and Minor Prophets of The Bible. How serious is this topic? Note what YoHeWaH goes on to say in this 65th chapter of Isaiah:
“Therefore, thus says YoHeWaH: “Behold, my servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame; behold, my servants shall sing for gladness of heart, but you shall cry out for pain of heart and shall wail for breaking of spirit. You shall leave your name to my chosen for a curse, and YoHeWaH will put you to death, but his servants he will call by another name, so that he who blesses himself in the land shall bless himself by the Mighty One of truth, and he who takes an oath in the land shall swear by the Mighty One of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten and are hidden from my eyes.” Isaiah 65:12–16
So, would YoHeWaH really cause well meaning, deceived Christians who ignorantly use pagan names in place of YoHeWaH one true name to be chased by the sword, in famine and curse? The God of Christianity’s imagination would not do such a thing, but the One True Mighty One, Creator of all flesh says He will do this.
There are two groups in the above text. What of the other group, those who will eat and drink, rejoicing and singing with gladness of heart? Who are these?
Another of YoHeWaH’s end time Prophets write of these and once again, we see the name of YoHeWaH as the direct focal point manifested as the measuring stick.
“Then those who feared YoHeWaH spoke with one another. YoHeWaH paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared YoHeWaH and esteemed His name. “They shall be mine, says YoHeWaH of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves YoHeWaH and one who does not serve him.” Malachi 3:16–18
There is so much commentary to unpack within this passage, we are sure, we will miss something. So, let us begin with what it means to fear YoHeWaH.
Solomon writes:
“The fear of YoHeWaH is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7
Add to this, another of YoHeWaH’s “end time” Prophet’s words:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the (Covenant) law of YoHeWaH, I also will forget your children.” Hosea 4:6
So, it can be said, the fear of YoHeWaH is to remember and by extension practice Covenant Law and to willingly abolish or make void any point of His law is a sign, the so-called Believers doing this, are not in a proper fear of YoHeWaH. Thus, bringing to mind, the statement, “it should scare Christians to death, if YoHeWaH truly knows their heart.”
Next, the statement “esteemed His name” is very important to understand. The word translated esteem could also be translated “meditate upon”. In other words, to be mindful of what studying and thinking upon His name. It certainly does not mean to replace His name with something else or to take His name for granted, as so many in Christendom does.
The time setting of the last days, the time period we are in right now, is established via the statement, “in the day when I make up my treasured possession.”, as the judgment of YoHeWaH soon follows via the statement, “and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.”, pointing to those who meditate on His name as opposed to those who take His name for granted would not be spared, showing “the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves YoHeWaH and one who does not serve him.”
This theme is found continually in pages of the end time Major and Minor Prophets writings, of a Covenant Law command being broken on a consistent basis, leading to some sort of last day’s judgment against those who teach and practice such lawlessness is repeated. Once you come to understand and see this theme, you have to shake your head at how two thousand years’ worth of Biblical Scholars could miss such a common thread.
With that in mind, we need to address the meaning of the word name. We have already defined this word to mean “memorialized reputation / character”. This best fits the above passage from Malachi chapter 3, concerning those who meditate or esteem YoHeWaH’s reputation, making up His crown jewels in the last days. Christianity could claim this aspect of the command to not make His name (reputation) void and to some extent, we can give Christianity a point or two for this very thing. However, consider the context of the verses leading up to the passage quoted above.
“Your words (Christians) have been harsh against Me,” Says YoHeWaH, “Yet you say, ‘What have we spoken against You?’ You have said, ‘It is useless to serve God; What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, And that we have walked as mourners Before YoHeWaH of hosts? So now we call the proud blessed, For those who do wickedness are raised up; They even tempt God and go free.’ ‘ Malachi 3:13–15
Can you see from this text, the mindset of those whom YoHeWaH is chastising and how their idea of God is not even close to what YoHeWaH is all about? His ordinances are Covenant Law. The Christian mindset says, “no one can keep God’s law”, which is another way to say, “‘It is useless to serve God; What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance,”.
The point being, if All of Christianity believes it is useless to keep Covenant Law and YoHeWaH chastises them for this mindset, how can they in turn claim to meditate on His reputation, if they do not know Him enough to be credited with such reverence? The equation would look like this:
Keep YoHeWaH’s Law = Knowing fully His deeds enough to meditate on His name.
As opposed to:
Abort YoHeWaH’s Law = Not knowing His deeds enough to meditate on His name.
Sounds an awful lot like 1John 2:3–4 if you ask us. It is funny how that passage is found repeatedly in our context.
YoHeWaH’s reputation is tied directly back to His opening statement in Covenant, “I am YoHeWaH”, as He introduces Himself to those who look to His Covenant Law of Liberty, by also reminding His People of one of His greatest deeds of all of scripture.
“I am YoHeWaH, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Exodus 20:2
His name is tied directly to His works, His deeds, His memorialized reputation…. And it is found all through scripture. Let us notice another one.
“The Almighty also said to Moses, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘YoHeWaH, the Mighty One of your fathers, the Mighty One of Abraham, the Mighty One of Isaac, and the Mighty One of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, and thus I am to be remembered throughout all generations.” Exodus 3:15
Here, we see the exchange between YoHeWaH and Moses at the burning bush event. YoHeWaH tells Moses His name, then ties it directly to the patriarchs of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob/Israel, men of renown who had experienced YoHeWaH’s great works firsthand, stories well known to the people of YoHeWaH. The Almighty ends this passage with the unmistakable subplot to His Mighty name…. Remembering His works forever.
Reading and thinking upon the name of YoHeWaH is easy enough if you factor in all of His Word. Once more, if there is a true relationship between YoHeWaH and The Believer, then meditating upon His mighty works in your own personal life becomes another way to meditate on the name of YoHeWaH. He comes through for you when you need Him. He lends His insight more and more every day. He listens to your prayers and you see how He intervenes for you in situations that arise in your life. All of these are just a few of the examples of how you, as the Believer, begin to meditate on His name, His reputation, in your own life above and beyond what we read in scripture. However, what about hearing and speaking of the name of YoHeWaH, the actual punctuation of the name?
Well, that is where the subject kind of goes off the rails for many. There can be no doubt, there is great power in the literal speaking of the name of YoHeWaH. We truly believe this was once the case in scriptural history, however, there was a line crossed by the people of ancient Judah which caused that blessing to disappear for all of mankind.
“Jeremiah said to all the people and all the women, “Hear the word of YoHeWaH, all you of Judah who are in the land of Egypt. Thus says YoHeWaH of hosts, the Mighty One of Israel: You and your wives have declared with your mouths, and have fulfilled it with your hands, saying, ‘We will surely perform our vows that we have made, to make offerings to the queen of heaven and to pour out drink offerings to her.’ Then confirm your vows and perform your vows! Therefore, hear the word of YoHeWaH, all you of Judah who dwell in the land of Egypt: Behold, I have sworn by my great name, says YoHeWaH, that my name shall no more be spoken by the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, ‘As YoHeWaH lives.’” Jeremiah 44:24–26
Teachable Moment: In the chapter entitled “Egypt, A Typology Of Christianity…. The Spirit Of Anti-Christ”, you will read about the code language used by YoHeWaH within the words of The Major and Minor Prophets of the Bible concerning the tie between these two entities. . Understanding typologies are essential for the Bible student to be able to begin to comprehend the truth buried in the deep layers of scripture.
A careful study of the religion of ancient Egypt will reveal how the characteristics of Christianity at the end time have morphed into a photocopy or typology of what Egypt was during the time the Bible was written. YoHeWaH refers to this religion many times over, through His end time Prophets. Here is just one quick example to conclude this teachable moment. Quick commentary within this text in parenthesis.
“An oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, YoHeWaH is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt (see chapter 2 of this work) will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them. And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians (denomination against denomination), and they will fight, each against another and each against his neighbor, city (church) against city (church), kingdom against kingdom; and the spirit of the Egyptians within them will be emptied out, and I will confound their counsel; and they will inquire of the idols and the sorcerers, and the mediums and the necromancers; and I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a hard master (The King of Babylon), and a fierce king will rule over them, declares YoHeWaH of hosts. And the waters of the sea (Federal Freedom of religion) will be dried up, and the river (State freedoms) will be dry and parched, and its canals (Local freedoms) will become foul, and the branches of Egypt’s Nile will diminish and dry up, reeds and rushes will rot away. There will be bare places by the Nile, on the brink of the Nile, and all that is sown by the Nile (The false gospel of personal salvation being a free gift) will be parched, will be driven away, and will be no more. The fishermen (hunters of souls, evangelist, via the fish symbol) will mourn and lament, all who cast a hook in the Nile; and they will languish who spread nets on the water. The workers in combed flax (writers of false teachings and preachers of sermons concerning the false gospel) will be in despair, and the weavers of white cotton. Those who are the pillars of the land will be crushed, and all who work for pay will be grieved (Prosperity Preachers, Liars).” Isaiah 19:1–10
Later in this work we will dedicate an entire chapter to this subject of “Christianity = Egypt”, but for now, back to YoHeWaH removing His name from the people of Judah during Jeremiah’s day.
In the above quoted text from Jeremiah 44, we are introduced to the “Queen of Heaven”. This female deity is very much an identifiable deity within the religion of ancient Canaan and Egypt, as well as modern day Christianity. Her name anciently was Ishtar. Modernity's Christendom knows her as Easter.
Today, the eastern and western Christian world celebrates Easter every Spring identifying that day with the resurrection of Christ. Fact is that Easter is an ancient celebration of the fertility of the Sex Goddess. Ishtar, also known as Astarte. It is 100% provable, mid-5th century Christian/Rome stole the pagan practice of Easter, making it Christian to appease the Pagan Romans who were slowly being converted to Christianity. More on this later in this work, however for now consider the following text describing how ancient Israel had fallen into this pagan practice even as early as the days of Ezekiel, as YoHeWaH’s Prophet sees a vision of his ancient day….. A typology of the end time.
“Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? You will see still greater abominations than these.” And he brought me into the inner court of the house of YoHeWaH (The Governmental Church). And behold, at the entrance of the temple of YoHeWaH, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men, with their backs to the temple of YoHeWaH, and their faces toward the east, worshiping the sun toward the east. Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it too light a thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations that they commit here, that they should fill the land with violence and provoke me still further to anger? Behold, they put the branch to their nose. Therefore, I will act in wrath. My eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. And though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.” Ezekiel 8:15–18
Lots to unpack from this scripture as well, so let us get to it.
Anytime you see the word abomination in scripture, you had better take notice and pay close attention to what is being identified as that abomination. In this case, it is the act of worshiping the sun at its rising. Just in case you missed the connection, that is what Christians do each Easter Sunday morning, by holding an Easter Sunrise Service. Now, granted, that is the moment in time when Christ walked out of the tomb, being risen from the dead. Actually, truth be told, it was at dawn, a good half hour before sunrise, totally proven from scripture. Thus, the first clue there is a counterfeit at work.
A counterfeit doctrine is where there is enough truth to cause the error to seem like full truth, but upon a closer inspection, there are major differences.
In this case, the subject of Christ’ resurrection occurred close enough to sunrise for Pagan Rome, newly converted to Christianity in the 5th century AD to create such a counterfeit mingling truth with error, causing Believers to take on the ancient Pagan worship of Ishtar, the Queen of Heaven, all in the name of the risen Christ.
Does YoHeWaH or Yeshua, the Christ, approve? Again, I’ll quote YoHeWaH’s own words through Moses to answer that question.
“You shall not worship YHWH, Your Mighty One, in this way” Deuteronomy 12:4
Once more, doing so, it is as though, Believers, so called Christians, “put the branch to their nose”, an “in your face” Hebrew idiom much like the middle finger might be understood today.
…… And what is YoHeWaH’s response? Judgment!
“I will act in wrath. My eye will not spare, nor will I have pity. And though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them.” Just another example of sin being met with the wrath of YoHeWaH, upon who? Upon His people. Not Leftist. Not Atheist. Not Democrats. But rather upon His people who think they call upon the name of YoHeWaH correctly.
It must be noted, the judgment spoken of here in Ezekiel is not the ancient judgment of Babylon sacking Jerusalem in the early 6th century BC. How do we know this? Simple. When Ezekiel wrote this, he was already in captivity to the Babylonian empire. YoHeWaH had already punished Judah and Israel with captivity. Thus, all the judgments Ezekiel mentions are future from the time he wrote and in fact, they are all, 100% end time, last days in their context.
So, the question is, thinking critically…… Who is it that worships the sun at its rising and should have known better?
Answer: Christians.
And all YoHeWaH’s people say, Case closed. But wait, there is more.
As we have mentioned already in this chapter, the name of YoHeWaH is unpronounceable. There are those who think they know His name, but we are just as sorry as we can be, not trying to offend, scripture says they do not know it.
“Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of YoHeWaH.” Revelation 19:11–13
Clearly, this is referring to the returning member of YHWH’s family that came in the flesh as our example of how to keep Covenant Law, called is The Word of YoHeWaH.
Here is a critical question for you.
What is Yeshua’s name right now? Please notice, the question is not, what was His name when He was in the flesh for 33.5 years. No, we are asking what His name is right now. Here is a hint…. It is not Yeshua. Notice the textual proof of this fact. A prophecy of the end of days from the end time Prophet Jeremiah.
“Behold, the days are coming, declares YoHeWaH, when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, and he shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: ‘YoHeWaH our righteousness.’ Jeremiah 23:5–6
Clearly, this is speaking of the man Yeshua, who died on the stake and was resurrected from the dead, the son of David. And what was His name prophesied to be, at the end time? ‘YoHeWaH our righteousness.’, not Yeshua.
Our savior’s name at this very moment is YoHeWaH.
For almost two thousand years, so-called scholars have taught this text is referring to Yeshua’s first coming in the flesh. They simply have not thought it through, being totally wrong.
First of all, Jeremiah tells us the time setting of his 23rd chapter, very plainly.
“The anger of YoHeWaH will not turn back until he has executed and accomplished the intentions of his heart. In the latter days you will understand it clearly.” Jeremiah 23:20
Secondly, during the days of Yeshua’s earthly ministry, Judah was never saved and Israel certainly never dwelt securely.
Thirdly, and this shocks people, The earthly Yeshua did nothing, not the first thing worthy of kingship. The following prophecy did not come to past in the days of Yeshua:
“and he shall reign as king and deal wisely and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land.”
The reason why this never came to pass is, this passage is not speaking of Yeshua in the flesh, but rather the Member of The YoHeWaH family returning to this earth to wage war and establish His Kingdom / Government, here on earth, just as Revelation 19 says. And who exactly knows that returning King’s name?
Answer: “…. he has a name written that no one knows but himself.”
So, people who will tell you, His name is pronounced Yahweh or Yahuwah or Jehovah or any number of ways, guess what? They are just as guilty as those who make His name void by replacing it with LORD or GOD.
The point being the main point of the third commandment is this:
His name is tied directly to His reputation, His mighty works, His great deeds and His mercy working perfectly with justice and His awesome plan of salvation, which are the works He is yet doing and will do. In other words, doing violence to His Law disqualifies a person from meditating properly on the character and reputation of YoHeWaH. Anything that pulls the Believer’s attention away from that meaning, such as enforcing how to pronounce an unpronounceable name or abolishing His Covenant Law does immediate damage to His reputation, thus breaking the third commandment.
So how does one read an unpronounceable name? Earlier in this chapter, we identified the difference between Translation and Transliteration.
A translation defines the name using its meaning in another language. A Proper example of this would be, יהוה = The Eternal.
A Transliteration changes the letters from one language to another, not touching its meaning at all. A Proper example of this would be, יהוה = YHWH.
However, if the name in question is not pronounceable, then you would translate that name into its true meaning and via the stipulation quoted earlier from Exodus 23:13, that meaning must not include the name or title of another deity, disqualifying LORD and GOD.
The meaning of YHWH is: To be. He is that He is. I Am that I Am, as He told Moses at the burning bush. He is, eternally, both in the past and in the future. No other deity can make this claim. That is why, when we are reading a text and we come across the name YHWH in that text, we could translate His name in the spoken form as “The Eternal” or “The Almighty”, if we fear to speak an unpronounceable name. it is truly a tricky and touchy subject.
In chapter 21 entitled, “The North American Indians” we will show why we use the vowel points of the written name YoHeWaH, instead of just YHWH with no vowel points. It is for the reader’s ease, being our best guess, as to how the name of YHWH should be pronounced…. But we assure you, it too is incorrect for no man knows the proper pronunciation of that Mighty Name. However, we do know and meditate dearly on the reputation and might deeds of The Most High…. King of all that is.
