Time, The Mark of YoHeWaH, The Feast Days

Chapter 18 of “The Book of The Covenant”, A Witness Against America.

“For six years you shall sow your land and gather in its yield, but the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, that the poor of your people may eat; and what they leave the beasts of the field may eat. You shall do likewise with your vineyard, and with your olive orchard. “Six days you shall do your work, but on the seventh day you shall rest; that your ox and your donkey may have rest, and the son of your servant woman, and the alien, may be refreshed. Exodus 23:10–12

As it has been stated many times in this work, typologies are key to a deeper truth within scripture. There are many types of typologies that pop up at any given time. From the above text, we can say, a day is a type of a year and vise-versa. The commanded weekly Sabbath is a type pointing to the commanded land Sabbath of years.

This section of Covenant Law deals very much with how Israel was to honor YoHeWaH via time recognition principles that can not be just swept under the rug of man’s traditionalism. It is beyond the scope of reason why Christianity desires with such venom, to abolish YoHeWaH’s Sabbaths. The Appointed Times of The Almighty are nothing short of the mark of YoHeWaH, signifying who His people actually are.

“And YoHeWaH said to Moses, “You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘ABOVE ALL you shall keep my Sabbaths, FOR IT IS A SIGN between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, YoHeWaH, sanctify you. You shall keep the Sabbath, because it is holy (set apart) for you. Everyone who profanes it shall be put to death. Whoever does any work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to YoHeWaH. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death. Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever. IT IS A SIGN (or mark) forever between me and the people of Israel that in six days YoHeWaH made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.’” Exodus 31:12–16

It must be noted, the word “sign” in the Hebrew and the word “mark” in the Greek hold the same meaning. Let’s spend just a little time digging into this word translated sign from the Hebrew.

The root of this word lends even more information to our understanding. Remember, you always go to the root of any given word in question, applying its meaning to the definition of the surface word to avoid mistranslations.

Thus the word translated sign in the Sabbath command can be understood as a signal or sign or mark of consent, agreeing to obey YoHeWaH under Covenant, evidence of your faith toward Him. Let’s notice a few other text using this same word in conjunction with YoHeWaH’s weekly Sabbath. Pay careful attention to the context of this passage….. It is judgment for dishonoring YoHeWaH by making void His Sabbaths. The text is long and in need of commentary within, to which we will place in parentheses for clarity.

“In the seventh year, in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, certain of the elders of Israel came to inquire of YoHeWaH, and sat before me (Ezekiel). And the word of YoHeWaH came to me: “Son of man, speak to the elders of Israel, and say to them, Thus says YoHeWaH, Is it to inquire of me that you come? As I live, declares YoHeWaH, I will not be inquired of by you. Will you judge them, son of man, will you judge them? Let them know the abominations of their fathers, and say to them, Thus says YoHeWaH: On the day when I chose Israel, I swore to the offspring of the house of Jacob, making myself known to them in the land of Egypt; I swore to them, saying, I am YoHeWaH your Mighty One. On that day I swore to them that I would bring them out of the land of Egypt into a land that I had searched out for them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most glorious of all lands (which was eventually to be America). And I said to them, ‘Cast away the detestable things your eyes feast on, every one of you, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am YoHeWaH your Mighty One.’ But they rebelled against me and were not willing to listen to me. None of them cast away the detestable things their eyes feasted on, nor did they forsake the idols of Egypt.” (Note this was while in their captivity in Egypt… Something no one ever teaches). Ezekiel 20:1–8

In the introductory portion of Ezekiel chapter 20, we find a stiff neck desire to serve the idols of Egypt, which any bible scholar would know has a god and a day attached to it. The formula is as follows:

God + Idol + Time = False Worship.

The God Saturn + The Evergreen Tree + The Winter Solstice = Christmas

The God Saturn + The Golden Calf + The Seventh Planetary Day= Saturn’s Day (7)

The Goddess Ishtar + Rabbits & Eggs + The Rising Sun on Sunday = Easter

The God Baal + Asherah Pole (Steeple) + The First Day = Day of The Sun.

YoHeWaH has no idol, nor does He have a fixed day of any man-made week. YoHeWaH’s formula looks like this:

YoHeWaH + Covenant Law + His Spirit + Testing = Set Apart Righteous Character.

More on this formula later in the chapter of this work called “The Process of Salvation”.

YoHeWaH continues through His Prophet Ezekiel….

“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them and spend my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt. BUT I ACTED FOR THE SAKE OF MY NAME, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom they lived, in whose sight I made myself known to them in bringing them out of the land of Egypt. So I led them out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness. I gave them my statutes and made known to them my rules (Covenant Law), by which, if a person does them, he shall live. Moreover, I gave them my Sabbaths, AS A SIGN between me and them, that they might know that I am YoHeWaH who sanctifies them (sets them apart). But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness (via the Golden Calf Event of Idolatry). They did not walk in my statutes but rejected my rules (Covenant Law), by which, if a person does them, he shall live; and my Sabbaths they greatly profaned (abolished).” Ezekiel 20:8–13

The above text tells the story of the equations listed above concerning The God, The Idol and Time. The God(s) are the gods of Egypt. The Idol is The Golden Calf and the time of testing is weighed against the weekly Sabbath and the Annual Feast days, listed in Leviticus 23. The Sabbath has always been and always will be, the great test commandment that YoHeWaH uses to probe Israel’s intent to whether or not they will walk the walk of Covenant Law.

The story of the giving of the manna in the wilderness makes this case perfectly. Note the following text:

Then YoHeWaH said to Moses, “Behold, I am about to rain bread from heaven for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day, that I may TEST them, whether they will walk in my law or not. Exodus 16:4

YoHeWaH gave them manna for six days. On the sixth day, YoHeWaH gave them enough manna for two days, to cover the seventh day, when there was no manna to be gathered because it was the Sabbath. The people did not believe YoHeWaH and failed to gather enough for two days on day six of the week. Thus when there was no manna on the seventh day, YoHeWaH’s test was failed and He knew those persons would not be willing to even begin to keep or gaurd, as it should be translated, His Covenant Law.

Thus YoHeWaH continues, through Ezekiel to recount the times and the ways in which He has pardoned Israel for their idolatry through Sabbath breaking.

“Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them in the wilderness, to make a full end of them. But I acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out. Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land that I had given them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most glorious of all lands, because they rejected my rules and did not walk in my statutes, and profaned my Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols. Nevertheless, my eye spared them, and I did not destroy them or make a full end of them in the wilderness.” Ezekiel 20:13–17

Reader…. Think carefully about what we are about to bring to light here in this above text. YoHeWaH’s intent was to bring Israel into the most glorious of all lands, a land flowing with milk and honey….. A land described in Deuteronomy chapter 8, paying special attention to verse 9 of that incredibly revealing chapter. A land, that can only be one land on earth, which is America. We will have more on this fact, in the chapter of this work called “The Land of YoHeWaH”.

Now, no matter where this eventual Promised Land is located, from the above text in Ezekiel, we can clearly see, such a land flowing with milk and honey was not where YoHeWaH brought Israel to, after the 40 years of wandering in the wilderness. Note the words, “I swore to them in the wilderness that I would not bring them into the land that I had given them…”, Instead of destroying Israel in the wilderness because Israel had profaned the name of YoHeWaH by breaking His Covenant via The Golden Calf Event of Exodus 32, on The Day of Pentecost, which was and is one of YoHeWaH’s Annual Appointed Times, He delayed Israel’s entrance into such a glorious land for what amounted to three thousand years or three days of YoHeWaH’s time.

The point being, it was idolatry through the false worship of Time Keeping by breaking YoHeWaH’s Sabbaths that brought such wrath. We have made this point before in this work, but it needs to be made again. The two commandments, YoHeWaH hangs all of His judgment upon are the second and fourth commands of the ten. Idolatry and Sabbath Breaking. Notice, as we digress just a little further from the intended path of the subject at hand, this very important fact that Idolatry and Sabbath Breaking differentiate between YoHeWaH’s blessings and YoHeWaH’s curses brought upon a nation.

“You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am YoHeWaH, Your Mighty One. You shall keep my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am YoHeWaH.” Leviticus 26:1–2 (The Blessing and Cursing Chapter of Covenant Law)

There is no doubt America, once a blessed land of promise, is now a cursed land. The question is why? Our quickened answer is Idolatry and Sabbath Breaking.

Ezekiel continues….

“And I said to their children in the wilderness, ‘Do not walk in the statutes of your fathers (who worshiped The Gods of Egypt), nor keep their rules, nor defile yourselves with their idols. I am YoHeWaH, Your Mighty One; walk in my statutes, and be careful to obey my rules (The Book of The Covenant), and keep my Sabbaths holy (Set Apart) that they may be a sign (mark) between me and you, that you may know that I am YoHeWaH, Your Mighty One.’ But the children rebelled against me. They did not walk in my statutes and were not careful to obey my rules (Covenant Law), by which, if a person does them, he shall live; they profaned my Sabbaths. “Then I said I would pour out my wrath upon them and spend my anger against them in the wilderness. But I withheld my hand and acted for the sake of my name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out. Ezekiel 20:18–22

Again, read carefully and consider what it is that defines “The Mark of YoHeWaH”, fulfilling the statement in the above text:

that they may be a sign (mark) between me and you, that you may know that I am YoHeWaH, Your Mighty One.

Is it not the observance of The Sabbaths”, plural, as in:

• The Weekly Sabbath,
• The Land Sabbath.
• The Annual Sabbaths (Feast Days listed in Leviticus 23).

…. Upon which Covenant Law hangs in judgment from YoHeWaH.

Moreover, I swore to them in the wilderness that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them through the countries, because they had not obeyed my rules, but had rejected my statutes and profaned my Sabbaths, and their eyes were set on their fathers’ idols. Ezekiel 20:23–24

The above statement makes the little known case, YoHeWaH had already determined, because of the Golden Calf Event, not only was Israel to be kept from entering the intended promised land, America, as soon as they could have, but Israel would go into captivity multiple times throughout their future history. Once to Assyria. Once to Babylon / Meido-Persia. Once to Rome before finally entering into the land flowing with milk and honey, in the early 17th century, America. Again, all because of Sabbath Breaking and Idolatry, three millennia before hand.

It also needs to be noted, the statement from the above text, “that I would scatter them among the nations and disperse them through the countries”, points to the fact that history shows, Israel migrated into central and finally western Europe before being regathered into the 50 nation states of America. Thus YoHeWaH did exactly what He said He would do by the above statement. Israel was scattered from the middle east into nations known today as Germany, Britain, France, Spain (formerly Iberia), The Scandinavian Nations, and various other Anglo Saxon, Caucasian nations throughout the plane of the earth. All because Israel had profaned The Sabbaths of YoHeWaH.

Moreover, I gave them statutes (Levitical Priesthood Law) that were not good and rules by which they could not have life, and I defiled them through their very gifts in their offering up all their firstborn, that I might devastate them. I did it that they might know that I am YoHeWaH. Ezekiel 20:25–26

We have alluded several times in this work the misconception Christendom makes concerning the Law of YoHeWaH, lumping all old testament law into one codified set of laws, of which Christianity loves to call, “That ole law” or “Old Covenant Law”, as if the so called New Covenant is different from the “Old” Covenant….. It very clearly is not.

Again, let us be clear. There are two sets of codified laws in the old testament. They are:

Covenant Law (original and eternal).

And

Levitical Priesthood Law (added and temporary).

Covenant Law is a blessing to the people who will observe it, bringing liberty and favor.

Levitical Priesthood Law is a curse or chastisement to the people who rejected Covenant Law and deserve the bondage of captivity and distrust. It is this second codified law listed here, that YoHeWaH is referring to in the above passage, instituted because of the Golden Calf Event. “…statutes (Levitical Priesthood Law) that were not good and rules by which they could not have life, and I defiled them through their very gifts in their offering up all their firstborn, that I might devastate them.”

That said, even within such a punishment that was the Levitical Priesthood, there was the testing of the weekly, land and annual Sabbaths to be kept, along with the identification of who YoHeWaH was, as the Sabbath identifies YoHeWaH to His people. Ezekiel continues recounting Israel’s history post wilderness….

“Therefore, son of man, speak to the house of Israel and say to them, Thus says The Sovereign YoHeWaH: In this also your fathers blasphemed me, by dealing treacherously (root word treason) with me. For when I had brought them into the land that I swore to give them, then wherever they saw any high hill or any leafy tree, there they offered their sacrifices and there they presented the provocation of their offering; there they sent up their pleasing aromas, and there they poured out their drink offerings. I said to them, ‘What is the high place to which you go?’ So its name is called Bamah to this day.” Ezekiel 20:27–29

YoHeWaH, now having to withhold the glorious land, America, from Israel, settled to give them the land He swore to give to Abraham, which is the Middle Eastern Land between Sinai and The Euphrates. Again, many miss the point, there are two promised lands of scripture. The one given to all of Abraham’s descendants in the middle east between the borders of Egypt and the River Euphrates, and the one given to solely Israel, which is America, delayed because of the idolatry and Sabbath breaking of The Golden Calf Event of Exodus 32.

“Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says The Sovereign YoHeWaH: Will you defile yourselves after the manner of your fathers and go whoring after their detestable things? When you present your gifts and offer up your children in fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. And shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, declares YoHeWaH, The Almighty, I will not be inquired of by you. “What is in your mind shall never happen — the thought, ‘Let us be like the nations, like the tribes of the countries, and worship wood and stone.’ Ezekiel 20:30–32

The end of the account of ancient Israel’s idolatry is completed in the above text. Israel was determined to bend toward idolatry, worshiping other gods, on other days, opposed to what YoHeWaH commanded through Covenant Law… But the story did not end there. History shows, YoHeWaH scattered Israel from the Middle Eastern dust bowl, a truly cursed land, toward the west over the next almost two thousand years, bringing His people in and out of various captivities, as generations went by. Until the time came for YoHeWaH to regather His people out of those lands, into the one Land Of Promise…. America, also known in prophecy as The Wilderness. However, even there, Idolatry and Sabbath Profaning, once again, raised its ugly head.

“As I live, declares The Sovereign YoHeWaH, surely with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm and with wrath poured out I will be king over you. I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples (America), and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face (as a Human Being). As I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will enter into judgment with you, declares YoHeWaH. I will make you pass under the rod (one tenth of the families of Israel), and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant (The Constitution of The United States). I will purge out the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against me. I will bring them out of the land where they sojourn, but they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am YoHeWaH. Ezekiel 20:33–38

The reference to “the rebels from among you”, are the majority of peoples both of the House of Israel and of those end time nations who have tried to join our house, who hate Covenant Law, both governmental Covenant Law and Biblical Covenant Law, which are the two halves of the coming Kingdom of YoHeWaH. Both Leftist and Christians alike. YoHeWaH’s statement, “I will be king over you” is a just proclamation. This would be the third and final time, in Israel’s history, YoHeWaH would pardon Israel for their Idolatry through the defiance of His Sabbaths.

“As for you, O house of Israel, thus says The Sovereign YoHeWaH: Go serve every one of you his idols, now and hereafter, if you will not listen to me; but my holy name you shall no more profane with your gifts and your idols. Ezekiel 20:39

YoHeWaH’s patients and mercy runs thin at this point in prophetic history. The situation is dire, for His people have become incorrigible.

“For on my holy mountain (The original established United States of America, founded in 1619, Declared in 1776, Constituted in 1791 to be hijacked in 1869), the mountain height of Israel, declares YoHeWaH, there all the house of Israel, all of them (one tenth of all 12/13 tribes), shall serve me in the land. There I will accept them, and there I will require your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your sacred offerings. As a pleasing aroma I will accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered. And I will manifest my holiness among you in the sight of the nations. And you shall know that I am YoHeWaH, when I bring you into the land of Israel, the country that I swore to give to your fathers. And there you shall remember your ways and all your deeds with which you have defiled yourselves, and you shall loathe yourselves for all the evils that you have committed. And you shall know that I am YoHeWaH, when I deal with you for my name’s sake, not according to your evil ways, nor according to your corrupt deeds, O house of Israel, declares The Sovereign YoHeWaH.” Ezekiel 20:40–49

To date, the story of America’s history, as listed in the above synopsis has not as of yet been completed. There is still much change to come in our nation’s notion of proper worship. To paraphrase what YoHeWaH is saying in this above text is, Once He has regathered Israel into the intended promised land, which began in 1619, and once His government (His Holy Mountain) was established, then the process of revealing Himself would begin. We know from other text within the Major and Minor Prophets of The Bible, this process would be both glorious and painful, but the end result will be a mindset to where Israel will “loathe yourselves for all the evils that you have committed”. Those evils are Idolatry via an abolishment of YoHeWaH’s Sabbaths, a rejection of Covenant Law, which identifies YoHeWaH to His people, making the point, YoHeWaH is a jealous Mighty One…. Which brings us to a continuation of Covenant Law, picking back up where we left off in Exodus 23.

“Pay attention to all that I have said to you, and make no mention of the names of other gods, nor let it be heard on your lips. Exodus 23:13

We talked a lot in the opening of this chapter about the name of YoHeWaH, and how his name and His identity was manifested to Israel through His Appointed Times of Sabbaths and Feast Days. So, it stands to reason why the above text is added to the section of Covenant Law dealing with Time Keeping. It is our intended purpose to “make no mention of the names of other gods”. Whether you, the reader, know it or not, LORD, GOD and Jesus are just that, names of other Gods, besides the one true God and His Son.

LORD is the name definition of Baal, the Sun God.

GOD is the literal spoken pronunciation of the Deity of Fortune, GAWD. See Isaiah 65:11 and the footnotes thereof.

Jesus, while not a direct name of any known Deity, was simply not the spoken, nor translated name of Our Savior. His name was Yeshua in the flesh. And His name, post resurrection is YoHeWaH, right now and forever more.

It was this YoHeWaH (The One that was Yeshua in the flesh, but also YoHeWaH in the Old Testament) that continued to speak Covenant Law to Moses, as this theme of time keeping, marked by The Appointed Times of YoHeWaH’s Sabbaths continues…..

“Three times in the year you shall keep a feast to me. You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you shall eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. None shall appear before me empty-handed. You shall keep the Feast of Harvest, of the firstfruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. You shall keep the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in from the field the fruit of your labor. Three times in the year shall all your males appear before The Mighty One, YoHeWaH. Exodus 23:14–17

The Feast of YoHeWaH are within three seasons of the daylight portion of the year (The period between February 21st and October 23rd). Early Spring, Middle of Summer and Early Autumn. All three Feast are Christ Centered and show the process of salvation, step by step. They ARE NOT Levitical priesthood based Feast.

These three seasons are broken up into seven appointed times or seven actual Feast Days. They are:

• Feast of Passover/Unleavened Bread which symbolizes the acceptance of the shed blood and death of Yeshua, the Messiah, as well as the ingesting of unleavened bread of sincerity and truth, Yeshua Messiah, as the word of YoHeWaH, i.e. Covenant Law. Wrapped up in this Feast is the celebration of the first of the first fruits, which is the resurrected Christ, the Wave Sheaf offering. He is the very first of the barley harvest pointing to the others of the barley that are to come….
• Feast of Weeks which symbolizes the called out of Israel, select persons to be family priest in the order of Melchizedek, making up the 144,000 listed in Revelation 7 and 14, that will govern all of Israel. It takes seven weeks from the time of the Wave Sheave offering for all of the barley harvest to take place from south to north due to the climate of the region of Jerusalem and points northward. The same is true for the American region. The harvest of the barley is the perfection of the barley harvest, which are the Saints, of which Christ was the first of the firstfruits. See Revelation 14:12 for an apt definition of what makes up a Saint. Wouldn’t you know it… Covenant Law observance defines sainthood.
• Feast of Firstfruits / Pentecost which symbolizes the time when all Israel will receive the calling to obedience of Covenant Law. The rest of Israel, not called, or not accepting His call, are represented by the wheat harvest, which comes after the barley harvest is completed.
• The Feast of Trumpets which symbolizes the return of YoHeWaH, as well as the Trumpet Plagues of Revelation, which is to say, within this Feast Day there are both celebration of the Just and judgment for the unjust.
• The Day of Atonement which symbolizes the process of removing sin from the load carrying Yeshua, who has born our sins until this very day, to place those sins on the back of the originator of sin, The Enemy. Only then can YoHeWaH’s government go forth, when justice has been fully carried out.
• The Feast of Tabernacles which symbolizes the establishment of YoHeWaH’s government here on earth, headquartered in America, The Promised Land. Also symbolizing the Millennial Reign of Christ.
• The Last Great Day which symbolizes the 8th thousandth year period in which all flesh, no matter what race will have an opportunity at salvation. It will be a time when the earth has been fully restored back to righteousness.

Within these Feast, the plan of a Christ-Centered salvation for all mankind is laid out. Fact is, most all of Christendom reject these Feast, calling them the Feast of the Jews. And yet, once again, please consider the following words spoken to Moses, from YoHeWaH’s own mouth concerning these, His Feast.

YoHeWaH spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, These are the appointed feasts of YoHeWaH that you shall proclaim as holy convocations; they are MY appointed feasts. Leviticus 23:1–2

These feast do not belong to the Jews, they belong to YoHeWaH and are applicable within Covenant Law for all of Israel, all 12/13 tribes, not just The Jews. All Israel and all the nations who were to join Israel’s house. Notice this text of the way it will eventually be in this nation….

“Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, YoHeWaH of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths (Tabernacles). And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, YoHeWaH of hosts, there will be no rain on them. And if the family of Egypt (Christianity) does not go up and present themselves, then on them there shall be no rain; there shall be the plague with which YoHeWaH afflicts the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths. This shall be the punishment to Egypt (Christianity) and the punishment to all the nations that do not go up to keep the Feast of Booths.” Zechariah 14:16–19

In short, escaping much more detail concerning just how important YoHeWaH’s Sabbaths are, not only to His plan of Salvation, but also to His mark or sign given to the righteousness of Covenant Law observers, the testing, first spoken of back in Exodus 16 with the giving of the manna to the children of Israel, has never stopped being the method YoHeWaH looks past the lip service given by so called Believers who are nothing more than counterfeits of truth. YoHeWaH requires action in a Believer’s life, and Sabbath observance is precisely the means for looking into the heart of a Believer’s genuine loyalty to YoHeWaH’s Covenant Law….. The Mark or Sign between YoHeWaH and man.

YoHeWaH closes this section of Covenant Law concerning the Sabbaths by making mention of a few details of observance concerning the vastly importance of Passover. As we have made mention before there are no sacrificial or ceremonial laws within Covenant Law, save one exception. The commemoration of The Passover is a sacrificial based ceremony which points to, anciently, and now looks back to the sacrifice of Christ in the flesh. Thus the following stipulations of Covenant Law were applicable to the Passover celebration within a Pre-Christ era of time, but only hold a spiritual significance for Believers today. Christ’ Sacrifice of His own physical body, ceased all physical animal sacrifices for mankind.

“You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with anything leavened, or let the fat of my feast remain until the morning.

The best of the firstfruits of your ground you shall bring into the house of YoHeWaH, The Almighty.

“You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.” Exodus 23:18–19

The spiritual relevance of these text are certainly worth discussing. The observance of Passover, each Spring, for Believers is very much still applicable, only void of an actual slain lamb or goat. It is a service with a meal, just as Christ kept it on the night he was betrayed, what is called “The Last Supper”, which was more than just the institution of the sacraments of bread, wine and foot washing.

Christ and His Disciples commemorated what should be termed “The Original Covenant Passover”, which was a celebration of The Exodus, via a Passover meal. Then, afterwards, supper being ended, Our Savior began a brand new understanding of the next stage of the Passover process, which was to be the death, burial and resurrection of His own life, fulfilling the slain lamb of the equation.

Today, we as true Believers are to still do as Christ did, commemorating the original Exodus, then afterwards, commemorating the death of Our Savior, lending the next level of a right understanding of the full meaning of Passover to our theology, as we begin to piece together the sum total of YoHeWaH’s plan of salvation. The point being, we can still hold to the structure of the command:

“You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with anything leavened, or let the fat of my feast remain until the morning.”

We begin avoiding leavening on the night of Passover, the 14th of Abib, via the meals spoken of before. There is rich meaning to this command, for while we are to avoid leavening, we are also commanded to begin ingesting Unleavened Bread for the next seven days which points to consumption of Christ and His words for the perfect number of days. Note this text from the New Testament alluding to this fact.

“Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Let us therefore celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” 1Corinthians 5:6–8

Thinking critically, something Christendom avoids like the plague, not only does the above text reveal that the church at Corinth was observing the days of Unleavened Bread via the statement, “as you really are unleavened”, showing the assembly had followed the command to put out all leavening from their dwellings, as Paul went on to explain why such a command was given in the first place….. For if Christ is our Passover, and His words from John chapter 6, which we will quote in just a minute below, are applied which basically state, the unleavened bread of “The Renewed Covenant Passover”, instituted by Christ Himself, are a direct replacement of the slain lamb…. Then when we are commanded to eat unleavened bread beginning on the night of Passover, we are in all actuality eating Christ’ body, which means Paul’s statement in this text to the Assembly at Corinth is revealing, Christ is the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Christ basically states the same thing in the following passage from John’s account of His words. Emphasis added in parenthesis.

“Yeshua” then said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave you the bread from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of The Father is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” John 6:32–33

“Yeshua” said to them, “I AM THE (UNLEAVENED) BREAD OF LIFE; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, BUT RAISE IT UP FOR THE LAST DAY. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I WILL RAISE HIM UP ON THE LAST DAY.” John 6:35–40

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. I AM THE (UNLEAVENED) BREAD OF LIFE. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died. This is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this (unleavened) bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world IS MY FLESH (symbolized by the ancient Passover Lamb).” John 6:47–51

So Yeshua said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh (unleavened bread) of the Son of Man and drink his blood (wine), you have no life in you. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink. Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me. This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” John 6:53–58

The running, Christ centered theme within this text is two fold.

1. Christ, which was anciently, symbolized by the physical slaying of a Passover Lamb, is now to be symbolized by the bread eaten beginning with the Passover meal, which was of course to be unleavened, as professed by Paul to the Assembly at Corinth.
2. This partaking of the unleavened bread of Christ’ body every year at this time, which was to reaffirm the wedding vows of baptism, would lead to a resurrection to eternal life, via the statement made three times within this text…. “….and I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY.”.

Obviously, there is so much more to the information we could convey concerning this subject of time keeping, the mark of YoHeWaH, concerning how the Sabbaths are not an abolished observance to be kicked to the curb by Believers today, but rather a key piece of one’s walk with YoHeWaH in relationship with Him and with others of His people, rich in meaning and applicability. Fact is, entire books could be written on this subject alone explaining such abundance, let alone the information given in a single chapter.

The point being, if you’re going to look to Covenant Law as “ The True Way” leading to life, and you think YoHeWaH’s Sabbaths are abolished, pushed into the corner of Judaism, you are sorely mistaken. It is very possible, the greatest witness against America is laid at the feet of the Pastors and Preachers of YoHeWaH’s word today, teaching His Sabbaths are not applicable for Christianity……… A Grave Mistake, making clear the statement made concerning the Pastors and Preachers of the end time nation of Israel, America:

The anger of YoHeWaH will not turn back until he has executed and accomplished the intents of his heart. In the latter days you will understand it perfectly.” Jeremiah 23:20

May YoHeWaH help us all to repent and turn back to Him and His ways of Covenant Law.
